The Last Traveler, it seemed, had difficulty communicating in any way other than by reciting lines from the poem. It also appeared that the more they communicated, the more their language degraded. Their language, and perhaps even the person themself.
There were several theories as to the Last Traveler’s whereabouts. The theory that proved most popular (given what the Mountaineers had already learned and experienced) was that, whoever this poor soul was, they were trapped in some alternate timeline. A timeline in which the Lost Collection existed. There was no proof of that, only speculation and a strong belief.
