Richard hadn’t expected such a rapid response to Elijah’s request and he certainly hadn’t expected a meeting to be convened in such a short time. The task of getting senior police and governmental personnel together in one place was normally a logistical nightmare.
The room was crowded. Not only were he and Julie present but so too were senior officials from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory along with several officers from the higher echelons of the police force, including his own Chief Superintendent.
