Summer’s POV By the time the workday finally ended, I felt like I had lived through three separate days. I was exhausted. Not the kind of exhaustion that came from physical work. The kind that settled behind my eyes and made every thought feel heavier than it should. I packed my things slowly, sliding my laptop into my bag before checking my desk one final time.
