Chapter Six
A Visit to the Lake
Cat returned to reality first. Sam was still beside her, sleeping. His rhythmic breathing soothed her as she watched him. She realized as he slept that there were at least two unquestionable truths about what happened that evening. s*x with this wonderful man was magical, whether she was giving or receiving. She also realized that she wanted more. Her passion had not waned in the least, despite their intense love-making, she wanted him all night and all day tomorrow.
He stirred and turned to her with sleepy eyes. “Hello, lady!” he greeted her. “Good morning!” She looked at the clock. It was two a.m. and tomorrow already.
“Hello, my magnificent stud,” she replied. “How do you feel?”
