“Pretty horses,” she noted. “Are they yours?”
“No, they live here in the pleasant months of the year. They belong to some friends of mine, and I ride them to give them exercise,” he explained. “They are very well-mannered.”
Cat noticed double doors leading to another area of the house. Sam opened them and she saw a massive master suite which, with the bathroom attached to it, took up that entire end of the house. The bed gleamed with its dark, natural wood as did the floor. Partly closed drapes hung in the windows. She loved it!
“Do you like it?” he inquired.
“Oh yes, Sam. It is gorgeous and so well-decorated. You have excellent taste,” she replied.
