The first light of dawn painted Ravenwood in soft hues of pink and gold. Selene walked between Adrian and Leon, the forest behind them now silent, yet the tension in the air had not dissipated. Every glance, every subtle movement spoke volumes.

Leon’s hand brushed against hers, almost by accident, yet the contact sent a jolt through her that she could not ignore.
