“Will you ever return to your internship?” I asked.
School was over for the day and Mary had chosen to walk me outside, perhaps wait until Kyan's arrival before leaving with her chauffeur.
“Probably not, my dad wants me to focus on school and graduate with distinction, so I could join the full training.” She replied, pulling her nose.
“Why are you pulling your nose? Do I smell?” Mary's eyes widened, and she quickly shook her head.
“Not at all, I do that when I am nervous.” She sighs and pulls on it again, giving me a sad smile.
“Why are you nervous, is it not a dream come true to study alongside highly ranked members of the pack? The Alpha heir; Kyan, The Beta heir; Kendrick…” Mary scoffed loudly rolling her eyes as I mentioned the name.
