“Where's Vanessa?” I asked a ranger passing by, I had not seen her all morning and I couldn't get the lingering unease out of my chest.
I approached another ranger, my eyes scanning the surroundings with a growing sense of desperation. "Where's Vanessa?" I asked, my voice low and urgent.
