"I...It's okay sir." Prisha spoke looking down. She was very scared of even looking at him.
He nodded. She immediately left from there and sighed.
"Finally! Oh god. That man is so creepy." She spoke, breathing hard.
"Prisha, you can go back home. Rest will be done by the head staff." Prisha felt happy as now she will not have to meet him again.
She smiled and nodded. She changed into her simple clothes and left for home.
"God, please never make me meet him again." she prayed to God but little did she know she was gonna meet him again.
Here, Oberoi's were also done and they too got back to their mansion. As Advik reached his room, he started working but all of a sudden, he again got that girl's thoughts.
'for the first time in my life, I apologised to someone. I want to punish that useless girl, because of her, mom scolded me.' he thought angrily, balling his fist.
After sometime he again got busy with his work when the head manager of his company called him.
"Speak." He said coldly.
"Sir, I have sent you the list of the interns. Can you please go through it once ??"
"Fine." He disconnected the call and opened the data of all the interns. He was checking every intern's qualifications and ranks when his eyes stopped at a particular intern's data and a smirk formed his lips.
"So her name is Prisha Rathore. Well, then be ready. You made me apologise to you once and I will make you do the same but a thousand times. I will make you work so much, Ms Rathore."
After checking her data, he was surprised. She was very talented. Her grades were excellent and no one could say she works in a restaurant as a waitress. She was beauty with brains.
"Impressive." He muttered with a smirk and saved her data separately.
IN MUMBAI -
"Woah, it's as always very tasty. I must say, Arshika, you are the best chef."
Arshika smiled politely and said "it's my pleasure, sir. I am happy you liked it."
"Oh, please stop referring to me with so much respect. I know I am old but I am not too old. So please, just call me Mathur."
"Okay, Mr Mathur. I think I am getting late. As we are done with the meeting, I will be leaving now." Arshika said. They did a handshake and left from there.
"You i***t, I called you so many times but you aren't picking my call." She muttered angrily. She again called a number and finally this time, the person picked up the call.
"Arshi, I tried calling…" before the person could complete, Arshika shouted "Adu, I tried calling you so many times and you didn't pick up my calls. And now giving me those lame reasons."
"Okay my mom, I am sorry," Advik said with a chuckle. He knows he can't win from her.
"Okay fine, last time I am forgiving you. Anyways, let me reach back home, I will call you."
"Okay." She disconnected the call and immediately drove her car to her mansion.
So, Arshika is a very famous chef and she is always busy with her work and all. She isn't living with Oberois because she hates her family due to some past.
She only talks to Advik as she is very close to him. And Advik never behaves coldly with her as he knows his baby sister will start shouting back at him. He talks happily with her and she is the only person with whom he talks so freely.
All the Oberois except Advik ignores her because it's Maan's order. And Arshika being Arshika, is too stubborn to even go back and ask for forgiveness.
Arshika reached her mansion and changed her clothes, took a warm bath and wore shorts and a tank top. She sat on her bed and video called Advik.
"Hey, Arshi," Advik said with a smile.
"Hey. How is everyone??" She asked with a smile.
"Everything is going good. Everyone is okay. You tell me how is everything there??"
"Fine. Actually, umm...Adu I need your help."
"And from when, did you start asking me for permission??"
She chuckled and said, "That's like a triplet." They both laughed.
"Don't laugh too much. If those people hear you laughing, they will find out that it's me with whom you are talking and that man will even make you stop talking to me."
"Do you think someone can stop this Devil??"
"Oh god!! How can I forget that My Adu is an arrogant, cold devil." They both laughed loudly.
"Okay tell me what's the matter."
"Tomorrow is father's day. I want to gift something to Mr Oberoi."
"When will you start calling him dadda??" He asked in a serious tone.
"Don't know. Anyways, will you help me in giving him something?"
"You don't like him then why do you want to give him??"
"Aduuuu…" she whined, making him chuckle.
"Okay. I will. Tell me."
"I have sent a parcel. Please remove my name and tell him it's from one of his friends."
"Fine Arshi. Anyways, tell me are you gonna come to Yug bro's wedding??"
"No Adu. You know no one likes me. Rather than feeling uncomfortable, I shouldn't come."
"Hmmm.."
"Okay fine, bye and take care." He said and disconnected the call.
Arshika kept her mobile aside and laid on the bed. She closed her eyes and a lone tear left her eyes.
"Just leave this Mansion, Arshika. You don't deserve to be my daughter."
"If you can't understand me, then I am also not interested in living with you Mr Oberoi. Listen to me once, you are the worst father in this world. I hope no one gets a father like you."
Her eyes opened, as she again saw the same nightmare and she started sobbing. She sat there on the bed and started crying, hiding her head in between her knees.
"Why did you do that with me dad??" She sobbed hard thinking about that worst day.
All of a sudden she got a call. She looked at the I'd and it was Advik. She picked up the call and spoke, controlling her sobs "Yeah, Adu."
"Stop crying, Arshi." He said softly.
"How do you know??" She asked without any expression.
"I know you from the day mom conceived me, Advay and you." She chuckled.
"Now sleep. I will sing a lullaby for you."
"Thanks, Adu. I needed it." She said and kept the mobile aside. She laid there and Advik started singing a lullaby for her. When he heard her soft snoring, he smiled and kept the mobile at a side without disconnecting the call and slept.
