PRISHA'S POV-
This Devil!! What does he think of himself?? I seriously don't want to work for him as a secretary but do I have any Choice left??
He thinks that I will get scared of him. Scared my foot!!
But what should I do right now ??
If I work then I have to face this devil every day and if I don't then my dreams will get shattered.
Let's take the risk!!
I looked at Advik Oberoi, who was busy working. Taking a deep breath and calming down, I said "Fine, I am ready."
He smirked at me and said, "Okay, my assistant will tell you about your work."
I so want to wipe the smirk off his face.
I nodded. His assistant came and told me everything regarding my work. Then he gave me a sheet which had everything written on it.
"Read it and start your work now. It's already late so you will have to work two hours extra." Advik sir said coldly. Such a cruel man!!
"Okay," I said and started reading it. My eyes went wide seeing so many works. Maybe I have to do this in a week. Yeah, that can be the reason.
"Sir, I have to do this much work in a week. Right??" I asked him. He looked at me with raised brows and said "I never think about the future so no this work is for today."
"What???"
"Didn't you hear what I said??"
"I...okay."
"Bring my coffee." He spoke while working. I sighed and nodded. Coming out from the cabin I saw his ex-assistant looking at me with pity.
Yeah!! Pitying is only left now.
I smiled at him and went towards the coffee machine and made a cup of coffee for him. I came back and kept it on his desk. He looked at me and then at coffee and took a sip of it. I hope he likes it.
AUTHOR'S POV-
Advik was lost in the flavour. It was so nice. Just the way he wants his coffee to be.
But then he looked at her. Prisha frowned at him. Looking in her eyes, he threw the coffee in the dustbin making her shocked.
"How can you throw food??" She shouted at him but he spoke coldly "What should a person do when the food is tasteless??"
She was shocked as she knew she put everything perfectly. Calming her nerves down, she said "I am sorry. I will bring another coffee." He nodded and again started working.
Again she brought the coffee but he again threw it saying it was cold. She again went and brought coffee and this time, he said it had so much sugar. She was getting irritated and just wanted to kill him now.
"Sir, I think your taste buds are the worst." She spoke angrily.
"Bring another coffee." He spoke glaringly at her. She gulped her anger and went outside, shutting the door very hard. She again brought a coffee and he again tasted it.
He looked at her with raised brows and said "Finally you made it. Now start working."
"Are you taking revenge??" She asked Advik, narrowing her eyes. He smirked and said "Revenge for what??"
"For that day."
"Well, no. Here everyone has to work this much. And Miss Rathore, I want this work to be done by today at any cost. So start doing it."
She nodded and left his cabin. Coming to her cabin, she started working on some data and documents. She was so engrossed in work that she even forgot it was lunchtime. Suddenly the intercom ranged.
"Come to my cabin, now." She heard Advik's angry voice.
"Get ready to hear his scolding, Prisha." She thought, rolling her eyes and going to his cabin.
"Yes sir!!" She said curiously.
"Ms Rathore, don't you know the rules and regulations of this company?? And what about your schedule ?? Did you forget about it??" He shouted at her, making her flinch at her place.
"I don't know what you are trying to say!?" She said looking down, controlling her urge to slap him hard for shouting at her.
"It's lunchtime, where is my lunch??" He spoke angrily.
She looked at him confused and said angrily "Go and eat your lunch, I don't think so I will spoon feed you now."
And the next moment she regretted her words. She bit her tongue and looked at his angry dark eyes.
"What did you just say??" He asked very coldly. She gulped and said with an awkward smile "I...I am going to..bring your l..lunch."
She said and ran away from there before he could shout. A small smile appeared on his face seeing her childishness.
After some time she came back with the lunch and served him.
"I am sorry for saying that but it's your fault too, you shouldn't have scolded me like that." She muttered looking down.
"What do you think a boss does when his employees do something wrong??" He spoke in a soft tone. He doesn't know why he is saying that, he never spoke like that to anyone. No one has ever seen this much softness in his voice.
"Shouting isn't a solution." She said looking directly into his eyes.
"Really??" She nodded.
"And why ??"
"See, shouting can even bring bp problems." She said with a cute smile.
" I don't need your suggestions. Go and have your lunch." He said sternly and started having his lunch.
"Sorry sir, but I have to complete work so I can't have my lunch." She lied. The reality is she didn't have money to buy food. She just had a little money which she is gonna use for a cab. She just had some food left at her home which can be consumed only once a day. And she will buy groceries today at night and that too only a little because she has to save money. On top of it she has to wait for a month to get her salary.
And she will directly have her food at night.
"I don't think you have so much work that you can't even have your food."
"Sorry sir, but I think I will have it once I go back home. I have to complete my work." Saying this she came back to her cabin and started working again.
