Driving home for Christmas on Christmas Eve I couldn't be happier as this is the first Christmas I have actually managed to have off, I was either on tours or other mission when it came to Christmas but I'm glad to be home and spending it with the family even if it's only for a couple of days I don't mind. Any day I get to spend with my family is worth it really. Dropping off Connor first we quickly exchange gifts, I got Emily a barbie toy and Connor Hayley a weekend away. Most of us have already exchanged gifts at base but I decided to give Connors when I dropped him off. I did all my shopping online and had it dropped off at the base so my family didn't know what I got them.
