Chapter 2 - I See Him Through You

The mistake that Anne made was a secret. He had no idea what happened to Anne last time. Anne kept that to Erwan. She planned to tell Erwan about it, but she never had any chance nor courage to say to him.

Anne's face became evident when she heard him calling her name. She opened the door and the image of her boyfriend show. His hair is fully fixed, wearing his long sleeve and black pants that add more formal looks to his outfit. His perfect browse fits his face well. His lips have an ideal shape.

"Oh! Thank God it's you. I am so sorry, Babe. I wasn't able to recognize you. I thought it was someone else." Anne said while feeling sorry for Erwan, who was waiting outside for a while.

"It's okay, babe. I know you're just worried. That's why I came to check on you. Are you okay?" Erwan asked as Anne looks pale. Anne wipes her sweat and puts her hair on the back of her ears.

"Yup, I'm okay. I was just worried. Really." she feels good as she replied. She looks at his blue eyes with an assurance of safety.

Erwan smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek and a warm hug. She feels safe whenever Erwan is with her. The smell of his perfume goes through her nose, and his masculine body felt so comfortable. For the three years that they've been in the relationship, they have been intimate with each other.

They had s*x many times, and they almost planned to get married. Erwan planned everything and proposed to her before, but Anne refused to talk about marriage yet. She doesn't feel like getting married while having a secret to Erwan. He is a very understanding boyfriend, and he thought that Anne is just not ready to enter married life. That's why he did not force her to marry him.

Erwan went straight to the fridge as he wanted to spend the night with Anne for a while and have some chit-chats. A little alcohol will do for the night. And so Erwan took some cans of beer then handed it over to Anne upon opening it. Some chips will also do, and so he took some at the counter. They usually drink cans of beer together whenever he visits Anne’s house. They had a little chitchat with her about random things.

How's work? Have you had your dinner? What's your plan for tomorrow and some stuff? Although they had an intimate relationship, he never sleeps in her house. He also never stays there overnight. He usually goes back after having some beer or chitchats with her. He wanted her to have privacy until they get married.

"So babe, how was your day?" Erwan broke the silence after sipping beer. He noticed Anne was so quiet. Lately, she seemed to be in deep thought.

"Well, I just... Uhmm. I had a bad day at the office. So I decided to go back early and sleep for a bit. I overlooked the time. Sorry I wasn't able to message you earlier." Anne said while thinking if she should tell Erwan about her nightmare. Or should I say, my mistake?

"It's okay, babe. I was also busy at the office anyway. But what happened at work? Did anyone bother you or what?" he asked.

"It's just that my officemate gave me some headache, but it's nothing. I was able to rest now, so I'm fine,"  Anne said while finally decided not to tell Erwan the nightmare she had. She looked at Erwan and didn't say a word. She was like memorizing every inch of his face.

"Then that's good to hear. I can be at peace now that I know you're safe," Erwan said while he slowly held her hand. He pressed his lips against her hand and kissed it smoothly.

Erwan was a bit drunk since he was not a drinker. Although it's just a can of beer, he is still not used to it. He even quickly gets tipsy. Usually, he drinks one can of beer before sleeping. Maybe drinking is not for him. That's why no matter how many times he drinks, he still quickly get drunk. Anne feels the same as she felt a bit dizzy. She's also a bit drunk now. A moment of silence fills the living room after the last sip of beer. She looks at Erwan.

She told herself that she would never see the kind of guy like Erwan. He was already perfect for him. If not because of her past, she would have married him since then. He looks at her like a princess that he should take good care of every day. Their eyes met and locked to each other.

Anne is memorizing Erwan's face. From his head to his eyes. His kissable lips and the shape of his face. She's so attracted to Erwan. For being his boyfriend for three years, she still loves to look at Erwan's face. She felt that Erwan wrapped his arms towards her hips, pulling her gently. He then kissed her on her neck, which gives a tingling sensation.

He made her shiver in a good way. Anne curled her toes, feeling drowned by these good feelings. He continuously caressed her skin and kissed her in the neck, slowly going up to the ears. Then to her neck again, going up to her cheeks. She loves the scent of Erwan's breath. The smell of the alcohol from his mouth made her shiver. She felt the current flow to her body. She seems electrified by what Erwan was doing to her right now.

Erwan kissed Anne smoothly and more passionately. Anne became more attracted to Erwan as he caressed her hips. His hands move to her chest, pressing slowly. Anne closes her eyes when she suddenly thought of the guy from the past. She gets more aroused by her thought. It was him.
