If that wasn’t quaint enough, the place was named Aunt Bee’s Country Stop. I half expected Barney Fife or Gomer Pyle to be sitting on one of the old wooden barrels drinking a pop and watching for the stray passerby. My GPS had taken me along a more direct, less scenic route to get to the cabin earlier, missing this gem days ago.
