The next morning Ben awoke again to Maddy and her upset stomach. It has to be true, he thought. No one could be sick this many days and not be pregnant. I need to get to the next Island, we must find out what is over there, he decided.
Ben gently approached Maddy as she was hunched over a log by the fire and holding her stomach. "Babe," I'm going to take the raft and try to head to the next island while it's still low tide. Will you be okay here by yourself," he rubbed her back.
She sat up a little and smiled softly. "Of course I will," she reached up and grabbed his hand. " Now you go and be safe. Come back as soon as you can," she said sincerely.
"I wouldn't dream of anything else," he kissed her hand gently.
.........................
Thirty minutes later and Ben had carried the small raft over towards the sand beach that had exposed the shallow rocks. He walked out for quite a ways in the water. It was a little cool this time of day but as clear as could be. Taking the next step, Ben's knees now submerged fully and he knew it was safe to hope in. It proved to be very easy to do without any waves or tides around either.
Ben grabbed the oar and began paddling in the direction of the distance island. He couldn't see it too clearly but it appeared to be very tall. Cliffs were what he could make out. Similar to the cliff's on his very own Island with Maddy.
As he got closer and closer, he was right, it was all cliffs surrounding most of the island. Although it was later than theirs, the vegetation seemed to be lacking. What a definite island it actually appeared to be. Still beautiful no doubt, but not at all what he had hoped it would be. The though of moving to this island seemed almost hopeless to Ben and he hadn't even docked the boat yet.
Ben's boat came closer to the coastline. Looking up, the cliffs were massive to him. He knew that if he wanted to investigate more that he needed to get to the other side of the island. So he set off even further. Rounding the corner, Ben noticed that his arms became a little tired. Although it wasn't that far from his own Island home, he no longer had the muscle strength that he once did. His diet was definitely lacking some. However he knew that he needed to press on.
Finally, Ben had made it around the coast and was amazed that there was indeed a small beach on the other side of the island. But what was even more amazing was the fact that he could now see a whole series of islands off in the distance. The large cliffs had been blocking them from his original view. One was not too far away either, and although it looked smaller than this island that he was approaching, the landscape was vastly different. The lush green trees and bushes lined the high cliffs of the next island over. That island must bring more nourishment, he thought.
Almost in a trance, Ben allowed his boat to drift towards the small beach that was before him. He was now quite tired indeed. However he knew that he he needed to rest. There was no way he could make it to the other island right now. It was so beautiful though, he stared off in the opposite direction of his destination.
Just then a starling thing broke his trance.
"Ben!" He heard someone calling squeezed!
A pit in Ben's stomach began to drop in that very moment. Although he would normally be excited to see or hear anyone call his name these days, he knew very well that this voice in particular was not that one that he desired to acknowledge. This voice, although as friendly and excited as it sounded somehow made his skin crawl.
"Ben, is that you? It's me, Victoria!"
Do I turn around and row away, was the initial thought that crossed his mind. However even if he wanted to, he didn't have the strength in that moment to row back.
"Oh my gosh, Ben, I don't believe it's really you," Victoria now came running from the beach and out to the shallow waters where Ben's boat was pulling in.
Her appearance was now less of a silhouette to Ben and much more realistic. Far too realistic! As she ran closer and closer towards Bens boat, he was not only blinded by her red hair that blew in the breeze and glistened from the sun's rays, but something else...something that also shined in the sunlight. That same red shined from another part of her tanned body. He privates were completely exposed for the whole world to see. He couldn't help but look now. Half in shock, the sight of this woman running towards him had completely stolen his glance.
Victoria, now smiling from ear to ear pulled Ben's boat to shore quite quickly. He wasn't fully out of shock at this point either.
"Victoria, it's you," was all he managed to get out before...well before Victoria came around the the side of the boat and acted a big kiss on Ben's lips.
"I'm so happy to see you," she squeeled!
Ben now awoke suddenly, realizing that he was not dreaming. His worst fear had instead come true to form. Grabbing her by the shoulders, Ben pushed Victoria off from her wild embrace that she had bestowed upon him.
Blowing off the gesture, Victoria grabbed Ben by the hand and helped him from the boat. "You must ne so tired Ben," she cooed over him. " Did you come far to find me," she gave him a wink.
Ben let go of her hand and continued to firmly plant his feet in the hit sand. "I'm good," was all he could manage to say.
"Oh good," she reached for another hug from him, allowing her breasts to meet his chest. "I was so worried when I saw you coming from afar. "I'm so glad you've found me. I've so missed...," Victoria was cut off by Ben again pushingher shoulders away.
"Sorry," she stated. "I'm just so excited," she jumped off from the ground. As she did, she pushed her long red hair back, exposing he bare breasts swaying with her every moment.
"Victoria...," began stumbled. "Do you have clothes," he found his words?
"Why yes of course silly! Why do you ask," she winked at him again?
"Well I'd feel more comfortable if you pit them on," he admitted!
"Oh right, you are married," she chuckled. "You don't have to be a party pooper, Ben. I won't attack you," she joked!
But Ben knew that if anyone was capable of attacking him, it would definitely be Victoria. "Yes, happily married," he waved his ring at her!
"I'll liven you up yet, Ben," Victoria joked as she walked away from him and headed towards the treeline.
