First Love..again

Chapter Fifteen: A Sickness has Sprung

Madison opened her eyes. It was another beautiful morning on the island. However it was about two months since she and Ben had first become intimate now. She looked up at Benjamin who was snuggled tightly to her, as he had done each night before falling asleep. That had been their nighly routine. The two had grown closer than ever. She leaned up and gently kissed his handsome chin, which she noted was now covered in a full on beard. Madison didn't mind though. She thought it made him even more handsome. "Good morning, Babe," she exclaimed!

"Good morning, My Princess," he reached down and kissed her on the nose! "You look stunningly beautiful as ever," he complimented her!

"Why thank you, Sir! I made sure to put on my finest attire for you this fine day," she joked as she stood before him now, pointing to her outfit...or should I say lack of outfit! The two had now been accustomed to sleeping in the nude. It was a far stretch from their being awkward around one another.

"Mmmmm, you look good enough to eat, Princess," Ben pulled down her in closer towards him!

"You already did that last night, kind Sir," she played along!

"Does that mean I can't today also," he asked cooley?

"You know you can, Baby," she said in her sexiest voice!

In fact, the two had been having s*x daily these past couple of months. They would run around the island chasing each other like a couple of school ages children.

"That's what I thought," he nibbled on her ear! "I love you, Maddy," Ben whispered to her! Ben often told Maddy that he loved her. So this was no common occurrence for her to hear.

"I...I love you to Bennny," she whispered back, as he was now nibbling on her neck.

Ben turned to face her. "You what? Am I hearing things, Maddy? Did you say you loved me," he asked? Madison had told him before that she had love for him, but she was not in love with him. So he was surprised to hear the words come from her mouth this time!

"I love you, Ben! I'm so in love with you," she responded, now staring him straight in the eyes! A tear began to trickle down her face. She was so happy here with Ben, but she missed her Husband and family too very much. Part of her felt like she betrayed them by saying her true feelings. Madison clutched her locket and began to sob!

"It's okay, Maddy! It's possible to love more than one person at a time! I know you love him still," he admitted! "I miss my family too," he now began to tear up! "But I'm not going to lie... I've been waiting so long to hear you tell me that you love me! I've done so much to prove my love for you! It feels good to know that you feel the same," he admitted!

"I do Benny! I do love you," she held him tightly now! "Nothing can change that!"

The next morning, after the two had done their usual chores, Maddy began suddenly not feeling well. Washing laundry in the ocean made her light headed. Out of nowhere, Maddy felt her stomach churn, and she found herself heaving her breakfast up in the ocean. She was so embarrassed. She had hoped that only Ben didn't see her actions.

Ben, not far away saw the whole thing happen though. He never took him eyes off from her for too long. She was too important to him. "Maddy, are you alright," he asked in a concerned fashion?

"I just... don't know what has gotten into me," she responded...still feeling light headed.

"Something isn't right. Let me get you in the shelter to rest," he said sternly. He then scooped her in his arms, and brought her in the hut, and out of the sun. "You rest, My Princess," he ordered, and kissed her cheek?

Ben decided that he would give Maddy her space and a quiet place to rest for the day. He decided to go off and explore a little. Although the island wasn't big, he was determined to find something new to amuse himself.

On the opposite side of the island, Ben walked on the rocks in the water looking for clams and snails to eat later. The tide at this point was very low. So low indeed that he could walk out in the water quite a ways without actually getting very wet.

Suddenly, off in the distance, about 40 or 50 miles out, Ben spotted what looked like a boat. For a minute he began to get excited. Except that he realized that he had no way to signal them. It was too light out for a fire, and they didn't seem to be heading his way either. Oh well, he thought. At least this was the first sign of life that he has seen since being shipwrecked. Maybe this means that more occurances will take place.

Looking off in the distance, Ben could also notice dozens of other small Islands around them. There was one that wasn't too far away too, and it looked a little bigger than the one that they resided on. Maybe it had more food, he wondered. The side of the island that he and Madison set up camp on didn't really have many other islands in plain sight. Plus with the element of the ship that he just saw, Ben contemplated whether they should try to head towards another one of the islands off this side of the shore. They may have a better chance of being rescued there, he thought. Also, if they headed this time of day, the two could follow the rocks that he was now exploring, a good quarter of the way toward the next island, before they had to actually use the boat.

But Madison was sick now. He knew that he couldn't ask her to travel that distance when she is under the weather. No...he had to wait until she was feeling better for sure.

Hours later, Ben returned with an abundance of sea life. After putting them in the pot by the fire, he made his way inside to check on Madison. Peeking inside the hut, he could see just how beautiful she was. Lying there, with beads of sweat on her brow, Ben was captivated by her beauty, even when she was at her worst.

Slowly she opened her eyes and looked at him. Maddy could sense that she was being watched. Still not feeling well, she still managed to release a slight smile his way.

"Hi Beautiful," he smiled back at her! He then entered the hut and sat down on the ground next to her. Holding her hand, he was just so thankful to be close to her. Ben grabbed her hand, and kissed the inside by of her wrist. "How are you feeling, Maddy," Ben asked softly?

"Okay...I guess," she replied.

"That's not true Maddy and you know it," he followed up. He could read her like a book. She was not feeling okay.

"Well...a little better," she admitted. "My stomach seems to have settled now!"

"Well that is good," he kissed her wrist again!" "I'm going to go make us dinner! Will you be okay in her for a while," Ben asked caringly?

"Yes, Baby," she replied, "I'll be okay!"

The next morning, Maddy woke up again with yet another sudden urge to throw up. Looking over, Ben was snuggled up behind her. She had to get out of there, and she had to get out of there fast she knew.

With a rush of adrenaline, and last night's dinner lodged not far down her throat, Madison got up quickly, and ran toward the closest tree. There she found herself letting it all go.

Awakened by Madison's sudden exit from the hut, Ben ran out after her. Looking around, Ben didn't have to search far. His little beauty was hovered behind a tree not far away. "Oh Maddy, Baby! I'm so sorry your still not feeling well," he rubbed her back gently.

Wiping away the aftermath, she gave him a meak grin. "I'm okay," she tried to play strong.

"You don't have to be strong for me, Maddy! I'm going to take care of you," he explained. He then picked her up and carried her back to the shelter. "You rest, you hear me," he ordered?

"Yes, Sir," she joked!

"I'm serious Maddy! Something is wrong any you need to get better. Doctor's orders," he added!"

"I didn't know that you went to Med School Love," she played along!

"Why yes! Didn't you know? I got my PHD," he joked!

"Really now? What is your area of speciality," she asked playfully?

"You, My Love! I specialize in you! Just call me the Doctor of Love," he said in his sexiest voice!

"Okay Doctor of Love, what's my diagnosis," she asked?

"Not enough kisses! Kisses make it all better," he leaned in and kissed her forehead! "Now rest up! I'll be in to give you more of my medicine in a little while," he smirked!

Two days had passed and Maddy's condition remained the same. Much to his upset, Ben's kisses did not cure the little woman. Sick in the morning again, and better by late afternoon. Something isn't right, both of them knew it!
