"He said he was reporting that our family had too much money and suspected some shady dealings. So, he demanded we hand over all our financial records for inspection."
"He must be out of his mind!" I was at a loss for words. Our family is the wealthiest in the country, and countless people have their eyes on us. If there were any financial issues, we would have been investigated numerous times already. Besides, most of our business overlaps with the Patel family's company. Investigating our accounts is essentially digging into his own past. Or maybe he finds being the head of the Patel family too boring and wants to stir up some excitement?
