A long time ago, werewolves and humans lived together in harmony, until the incident that changed our lives. A story that had been passed from generations to generations. A story told to every child, every adult and every creature on the surface of the earth. The story of a young girl who was deceived by a wolf. The story in which a little girl and her grandmother were eaten by a wolf but later saved by a Huntsman who cut the wolf stomach open and saved them. The story of Little Red Riding Hood..... After that day, the werewolves and humans have been at war. A group of able-bodied men and women were recruited to help fight off the werewolves from the human community. They were called ‘Hunters’. PRESENT DAY Raya Hunter crept under the green grass, as she moved closer to the settlement. She had heard that a pack of werewolves had camped close by and she decided to take them out all My herself. Raya was a trained werewolf hunter. All her life she had been taught one thing: ‘Kill any werewolf you set your eyes on’. Her family were the most respected and feared hunters in the Upper West side and in their house, head of killed werewolves hung in display. Growing up, Raya had seen her father and brothers murder more wolves than she could count and on her sixteenth birthday she was inducted into the family’s tradition. Her mother died while giving birth to her, so growing up in the midst of four brothers and her dad. She had to train harder to earn her place but not matter how hard she tried, she was always looked down on by her family. They felt she wasn’t good enough. Raya had killed her fair share of werewolves with her silver dagger. She was also good at archery, even better than her siblings. So she decided that the only way she could prove herself was by attacking the most dangerous pack in the lands, ‘The Moon Pack’. The Moon Pack was the most feared Werewolf territory in the Upper West Side. From the rumors she heard, Raya knew the Alpha was ruthless. He was known for killing hunters in the worst way possible, torturing them and then peeling off their skins slowly. Her father had warned her to stay away from their settlement as she was still inexperienced but Raya didn’t. She wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted to go down in history as the hunter that killed the most powerful werewolf in the world. Drawing closer to their camp, Raya saw two werewolves standing on the outskirts of the camp warming themselves with the fire that burned from the arranged sticks. They were in their human form so it will be so easy to kill them, also she could sense that they were rouges, outcast werewolves. She quickly placed her silver arrow laced with wolf bane and shot it at the first one. He cried out and fell to the floor. The other knowing something was up quickly changed into his wolf form and charged towards the direction of the arrow. Raya took out her dagger and went after it sliding down to avoid it leaping on her, she raised her dagger up and pierced his heart. The rogue winced and crashed to the floor, dying instantly. Raya stood to her feet. Looking down at the dead wolves l, she wiped off the blood on her dagger with her sleeves. “Time to get into the camp,” she mumbled. The inner camp was guarded by three wolves, two males and a female. At the other end, there were about ten other wolves and cubs, some were in human forms others in their wolf form. It was like they were having a kind of celebration and were a little bit distracted. Raya felt this gave her an edge. She climbed up the nearby tree. She observed as the pack danced under the moonlight and around the fire. If they only knew what was coming for them. She drew an arrow and aimed it at a red-haired female wolf’s heart, steadying her hand she shot it. The female werewolf stumbled back and fell dead, blood oozing from her. All the wolves stopped dancing and immediately changed to their wolf form as they tried to find out where the arrow came from. A male werewolf and a young cub, hovered around the dead werewolf. They were her family. Raya was about to shoot another arrow when the branch she stood on broke, sending her tumbling down the tree and rolling to the ground. The werewolves swiftly ran towards her direction and surrounded her as they growled. Raya stood to her feet immediately, it would be very hard for her to get out of this situation. She drew her bow as the wolves circled round her, watching her every move as they got ready to tear to a thousand pieces. “Don’t get closer or I will shoot,” she yelled, trying not to give away her fear. She was so afraid that she may die and never see her family. That she will go down in history as a stupid hunter who defiled her father’s order and was killed by a pack of wolves. “You’re clearly outnumbered,” Bardulf growled, moving closer. He was a Beta and had a brown fur. He walked with so much pride and dignity that one would think that he ruled the pack. “Drop your weapon and I promise your death will be less painful,” he smirked. Raya tightened her grip on the bow, she was going to die like this. No, she was going to fight till her last breath. She stepped back and tripped backwards and the bow fell out of her hands. Two wolves in their human form quickly grabbed her, holding her by her wrist as she struggled out of their grip but they were too strong. The Beta moved closer, he was just inches away from her and Raya could see his blood-shot eyes. He raised his paws and was about to s***h her face with his claws when a strong hand pushed him away. The Beta tumbled to the floor and looked up in anger only to see Alpha Blake, the Alpha of the Pack standing in between him and Raya.
