Maybe it was the time we spent together, or the nostalgic feeling of having him by my side that made me feel lighter. Thinking about the days we spent together, I suddenly had the urge to give him one more chance.
For a moment, I couldn't think about anything, but Caspian and our memories, that somehow filled my heart with warmth. It has been so long since I felt this way, and I couldn't help but to smile.
Despite the threat that Juliette imposes on our lives, I couldn't stop my heart from wanting Caspian— from trusting him and believing his words again. And I hate that my heart is slowly melting with his words again. I know I shouldn't believe him, but my stupid heart just wouldn't cooperate.
