ANNIKA'S POV
“Are you really sure about this?” Jade asked, her voice was filled with concern.
We are currently in a boutique inside the mall to buy a dress for me. I want to look good in front of Caspian's father. I'm not the type of person who dresses to impress, but his father is a different case. He doesn't like me, and I need to prove to him that I am worthy of his son.
I know he thinks that I will only cause Caspian his downfall, but I am determined to show him that it won't happen. I will never let it happen because our love will make him better and more productive. I will not stop him in pursuing the best interests of their company. In fact, I will be there to support him and cheer him up every step of the way.
My eyes darted to a simple, yet elegant looking dress in the corner.
