ANNIKA’S POV As I walked towards our table, Juliette’s eyes found mine. Her mouth hung open, as if she wasn't expecting to see me there. I tried to ignore her presence, even when I could feel her gaze following me. I sat in front of Aries and smiled nervously. “What took you so long?” he asked. He didn't sound irritated, instead, his voice was laced with concern. “Just a bad stomach, but I'm fine now,” I smiled at him, reassuring him. I didn't mention anything about Caspian, so as not to ruin his mood again. I glanced back to see if he was already back at his table, but I was met by his fiery gaze.
