A Day Together

Sophia's POV:

Ughhh, my head hurts and I feel like s**t. I couldn’t open my eyes since the sun was burning them, but my pillow felt so warm and comfortable even though it was hard. WHAT! Since when is my pillow hard and smells like a man's cologne?

I forced my eyes to open and I saw that I was cuddling some guy but his back was sticking to my front so I couldn't see his face. Did I sleep with some stranger? I might not be a virgin but I still love my Aiden and I couldn't sleep with anyone else. Ughhh why can't I remember anything from yesterday?

Suddenly I felt myself getting nauseas so I ran to the bathroom and started vomiting. I hope the guy doesn't wake up so I could escape before he wakes up. Sadly my prayers weren’t answered since I felt someone hold my hair back from my face and I was sure it was him as we were the only people in the room. After I finished, I looked back to finally get a hold of the person I was in bed and was surprised to see Aiden 

"Are you alright?"

"A little better, but my head still hurts. How did I end up here?" From the looks of it, I'm pretty sure this isn't my house 

"I found you drunk in the club. I tried to take you home but you fell asleep before I could ask you your address" I nodded, but suddenly remembered that Hailee went with me to the club. God I'm a terrible friend.

As if Aiden heard my thoughts, he said "Don't worry about Hailee, my friend took care of her and made sure she got home safely" Oh thank god

“Thank you Mr. Williams"

"Please call me Aiden"

"Okay Aiden. Do you mind if I take a shower before leaving?"

"Please do. I'll put some clothes for you on the bed" he said while walking out of the bathroom 

After taking the shower, I went back to the room to change but not without making sure Aiden was not in the room. The shirt he left me reached almost my knees and the sweatpants were too big so I ended up wearing the shirt only. 

I left the room and started wondering around looking for Aiden. My head was hurting like hell and I needed some pain killers. I ended up in the kitchen where I found Aiden cooking in his sweatpants only and moving with the rhythm of some song that was playing in the kitchen.

While I was staring at him, I realized that he was starting at me too. I was lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize that Aiden caught me staring, just like I did with him too

"Like what you see?" he asked smirking.

"Oh please, I've seen better" now was my turn to smirk. What I said was a lie. I never looked at any man except Aiden, not because I couldn't but because I loved Aiden and he was more than enough for me. Even when we would go to the beach, I would see men's chests but I wouldn't be actually looking. 

No man has ever made me drool over his n***d chest except Aiden and here I am drooling over him all over again. I guess some things never change, but now since we aren't actually together I couldn’t tell him that. 

After my comment, Aiden's smirk faded and turned into a scowl. Is he jealous of something? But he doesn't remember me or does he?

Aiden's POV:

Her comment made me furious. Was she with other men, did she forget me? Does she have a boyfriend? Jealousy was eating me alive, but I couldn’t let her know that since we weren’t together. I needed to win her back. If she has anyone in her life, I'll make her forget him. 

I can't loose her when I just found her, but I needed to make sure first that it's actually her. In the meantime, I need to stay close to her to make sure she's okay and honestly, if she leaves, I'll miss her. So spending the day with her was the perfect idea to do both.

"I finished breakfast. Start eating so you can take your medicine and feel better. I need to take a shower and change my clothes" I said while pointing at my clothes. I was a mess and filled with flour from cooking the pancakes.

I quickly went to my room after making sure that she started eating. I called my assistant and cancelled all of my meetings to spend the day with her, and also made sure to call her assistant and cancel her meetings as well.

I took a shower and wore a new pair of sweatpants, not bothering to wear a shirt since her eyes kept wondering to my abs. The thought of her looking at me put a smile on my face and made me actually proud of my body and all the time I spent in the gym. 

I headed back to the kitchen to find Sophia still eating. I sat opposite to her and started eating. Suddenly, I heard Sophia chocking. I ran to the kitchen and got her water.

"Soph, Soph are you alright?" I asked looking concerned while she looked at me shocked. Did I do something wrong? 

“Wha- What did you call me?" she asked still shocked 

Then I remembered her reaction yesterday when I called her Soph, so I decided not to piss her off since she seemed tired

"Sophia. Isn't that your name?" I asked doing a fake innocent face. She seemed to believe me since her face relaxed

"I'm sorry; I thought I heard you say something else"

"Don't worry about it. Now are you alright?"

She nodded "I'm fine, but could you please put a shirt on"

I smirked while laughing, that's why she chocked "Why, is it bothering you?"

"Aiden I'm serious" God, the way my name rolls off her tongue. I never thought my name to sound good unless it came from her. No one had this effect on me except her.

"Alright, Alright I'm going" I playfully put my hands up in surrender while still laughing.

I went to my room and put a shirt on. Then, my phone started ringing. My private investigator. Perfect!

"Sir I did as you told me, but I couldn't find much. It seems that someone deleted most of it. All I know is that she was raised in California until she reached 18. There isn't information about her whereabouts for a whole year. After that, she moved to New York, where she studied and started her business" 

Is he serious now?!

"How is this possible? I need to know where she was during that year and I need to know if there was a relation between me and her when she was in California"

"If you give me more time, I'll find all of that for you sir"

"You have a week" I hung up and went back to eat my breakfast 

"Is everything alright? You took a while?" She sounded a little worried. That made me smile on the inside 

"Yes don't worry about it" she hummed an okay and continued her breakfast. After a few moments of silence, Sophia spoke again

"Can I ask you a question?" she asked while looking at the ground like she was embarrassed 

"Sure" I stopped eating and turned my attention to her

"Did- uhm- Did something happen between us yesterday? I mean since I found us- uhm-" her words chocked out and she was turning red.

So this is what she was embarrassed about

“Sleeping in the same bed and cuddling" I continued the sentence for her and laughed 

"No, nothing happened. I had to put you in my bed since the guest room is being redecorated and don't worry, I closed my eyes while changing you. I would never look at you without your consent. And I didn't sleep with you in case your wondering. I want you sober if we do it, when we do it" I said the last part as a whisper, but it seems like she heard it since she looked shocked and her cheeks were red. She looked cute blushing.

"Anyways, what do you want to do for the day? Or do you want to sleep more?" I added trying to make her feel better

"Actually I need to go. I have a lot of meetings today" I had a feeling she was going to be angry when I tell her

"Well, I kind of called your assistant and cancelled all of your meeting" I was right, she looked like anger was starting to build up in her so I added 

"In my defense, you did look a little tired" that didn't seem to help since she was still angry

"Still, that doesn't give you the right to cancel my meetings" she snapped

"I'm sorry but what's done is done. So relax and enjoy the day" she sighed

"But what am I supposed to do for the rest of the day. I can't sleep all day?"

"You're lucky since I have the day off and I won't be working today too, so how about we do something together. Do you want to go out or stay at home?" I smiled thinking I never had a day off, but she doesn't need to know that

"I don't know, how about you choose"

"Well since you're a little tired, how about we go to the cinema and watch a movie?" Going to the cinema and watching a nice movie was always our thing since we were children 

"Well, I haven't been to the cinema since a long time so why not" she said with a genuine smile on her face. Her smile was always one her best features plus her eyes, her body, and her voice. In all honestly, all of her is perfect in my eyes.

Sometimes she would hum a song while focusing on something and she would always sing in the shower with her angelic voice. I can't wait for her to sing for our children. Did I just say that?! 

No, that won't happen. I can't forget what she did to me, plus she probably forgot me and moved on. That is the only explanation to why she left me, we can never be together.

"What movie do you want to watch?"

"How about a romantic movie" I laughed. My Soph always had a thing for romantic movies. She was a hopeless romantic. I'm pretty sure it's her. Yes coincidences happen, but not that much. She is practically her twin, actually even twins can't have that much similarities. I'm certain that's her

"Actually forget it. No guy likes to watch a romantic movie. Stupid me" she said the last past almost as a whisper, but I heard it

"No, we are going to watch a romantic movie. Honestly, I like them, but don't mention it to anyone since I'm known as a ruthless businessman" I said laughing 

"Really?" she asked while beaming with happiness

"Yes really"

We ended up choosing the only romantic movie available and went to our seats, but not before buying popcorn, some nachos, and coke. The whole theatre was filled with couples cuddling, some kissing, and some even making out. Seriously, in here!

Half an hour through the movie, Soph seemed a little cold as she was slightly shivering so I did what all couples are doing, I cuddled with her. I put an arm around her shoulder and brought her closer to me

Soph seemed to be surprised by my sudden gesture "What are you doing?" she whisper yelled at me. I actually found this quite amusing 

"You seemed cold" I said innocently

"I'm fine" she said while trying to move away. Notice when I said "trying"

I laughed again "Honey give up. You won't be able to move away unless I want you to"

"Don't honey me. Now, let. me. go." she gritted through her teeth

"No! Now let's watch the movie. And if you don't stop moving, then I'll pull you closer. Probably on my lap" I said the last part huskily in her ear. That seemed to keep her quiet, even add a slight pink blush on her cheeks. Even though it was dark, but since she was really close to me, it was visible enough for me.

Honestly, I didn't pay attention to the movie, I was busy watching Sophia. She was so focused on the movie that she didn't even notice that I was staring at her the whole time. It was quiet cute. I never actually considered any woman cute except for her, she is definitely something else.

After the movie, I started feeling hungry and realized that it's time for dinner. So I suggested taking her out and surprisingly she didn't object 

"Do you like Greek food?" I asked her though I know that Soph is originally Greek just like me, so Greek food was one of our many shared common interests.

"I love it!" she said excitedly.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we directly went to my usual table which I always have reserved for me "This is one of the most famous restaurants in New York, how did you manage to get us in without a reservation?" She looked a little shocked  

"Since Greek is my favorite food, I come to eat here a lot. Actually, I'm originally Greek"

She looked like she faked a shock but it just might be me "Really, what a coincidence. So am I!" 

I mimicked her reaction.

"Let me order for you. If you don't mind"

"Please go ahead"

I ordered her favorite food on purpose. I slowly want her to realize that I know who she is. Maybe then, she might admit that it's her and she might actually give me her reason of leaving. Even though I knew it. 

She fell out of love!
