A week has passed since the day I got the call from Lucas. I still haven't told Aiden about it and honestly, right now it all felt like empty threats but I still took precautions just in case. Aiden on the other side went overboard and took the meaning of precautions to a whole new level since the day Melanie came.
He hasn't left me for a second unless it was something really urgent and even then, he took me with him. I think he was just scared that Lucas might be back and he might do something to me. I know he means well, but it's just too suffocating.
