¶Why she is so hard to understand¶

(Next Morning)

Max woke up with a severe headache. He sat up on the bed and saw that he is not in a dungeon anymore, the place where he was sleeping was a huge room more like a messy bedroom, There were files and papers everywhere, even some weapons were resting on the floor and tables.

So, he slowly got down from the bed while looking around him, and gradually picks up one piece of paper and a g*n which was laying on the table and soon he started loading it with bullets.

"s**t!!! MAXWELL, What are you doing with it?" Sid yelled seeing him holding that while coming out of the bathroom after finishing a shower.

Max, quickly reacted before Sid could do anything and pointed that g*n at his forehead from one hand and grabbed his waist with another. Sid was a bit stunned by this action as nothing come out of his mouth, Max grinned seeing him anxious, and said...

"Guns are banned in Werewolf world, where did you get this one? Besides, Vampires or Werewolves nobody can get killed by this"

Sid sighed in relief after knowing his harmless action. He took that g*n from him and pushed him on the bed while saying… "If you shoot someone from this near, anyone can get killed and in addition, these bullets contain poisonous silver powder in them, So i***t you could have just killed me now"

"Ohh Well, I could have threatened you with this to let release me from here," Max said smiling

*Sid leans near his face* "Then Why didn't you do that?"

Max grabbed the back of Sid's neck while replying… "Because I don't have anyone out there besides y..yo…"

"Besides?"

*Max pushes him away* "Nothing, I just couldn't get myself assassinated by your wolves"

"You sure know how to play. Maxwell, I really want to stay…stay near you…So, ask me to stay. My patience is giving up"

"I told you before too, Stop imagining something that is weird and bizarre"

"Woah!, You seem totally fine now, Get ready to go back into the dungeon"

"Dungeon? Dungeon… Ohh! how could I forget about that? *grabbed Sid's shoulder* Where is that girl? You didn't do anything to her right? Take me to her, right now"

"Okay, okay calm down. You are so eager to meet her do you know her?"

"Yes…no, I mean… I…" Max was thinking hard about what to reply to Sid's question but at that exact moment one Guard knocked on their door

*Sid opened the door* "Didn't I tell you all not to roam around my space, at least not today"

"But…But lord, Alpha is here, and Zeta (Moon) asked you to be present in the main hall" Guard replied

(Meanwhile)

Damon came back to the Alpha House after staying the whole night outside, He immediately went toward the Main hall and sat on his throne while the members of the family were entering behind him. As he was shirtless, everyone saw that his wound is still untreated moreover he was holding the same knife from last night.

"Asher, Come here," Damon said looking at him who was on Moon's lap

Hearing his rough voice, Asher clutches Moon's hand and buried his face in her shoulder as he was kind of afraid to go near his Dad who was looking like a cold beast at this moment.

"ASHER! You can't hear me now" Damon kind of yelled.

Asher flinched and started sobbing as he was terrified to even look at him because last night, he was the one who asked Krystal to threaten Damon so that he will let her go from the palace and Asher did this because he saw his Dad torment her with his pheromones. But he never thought that nothing will go according to him and also that his Dad will trust Krystal with his life.

After hearing his weeping Damon throws that knife away on the floor and then approaches him. He picks up Asher from Moon's lap and then wipes his tears, where Asher wraps his hand around his Dad's neck while saying…

"I am sorry Dad, I am sorry. It's all my fault…I…I"

"Why did you do that? Stop crying first. *turns to Moon* Where is Sid?"

"Here, Alpha..." Sid said reaching inside the Main Hall and standing in front of him with Max who was standing behind Sid more like avoiding Damon.

*Damon looks toward Max and then at Sid* "Did you mark..."

"No..no..no..." Sid said shaking his head

Mr. Dalton quickly approaches them while glaring at Maxwell and said... "Then Why he is here? Damon, don't you think you give too much freedom to your workers"

"He is Beta of this clan, not a worker" Max rudely replied to Mr. Dalton and then scanned his condition with a wheelchair with a wide smirk while saying... "I see you are still alive. Back then I should have smashed your head instead of your leg"

"MAXWELL!!! You can't say that here, you can't disrespect him" Sid yelled at him and pull him back again

"Why he is out?" Damon asked again but this time with a dominating tone and Maxwell quickly answered

"I accept your offer. I am willing to work for you"

Hearing this Damon nodded his head in approval, Where Sid holds Max's hand and asked... "Why? You never told me this"

Max didn't give a reply to him as his gaze landed in the direction of the door from where two-three guards were coming inside with Krystal.

Damon quickly passes Asher to Sid and approaches Krystal. He grabbed her wrist tightly and started dragging her out of the palace's main gate and yanked her to the ground once they reach out of the gate.

"You wanted to get out of the palace so much that you even stab me. Now go and don't ever show your f*****g face to me" Damon growled

Krystal stood up from the ground while shaking her head and said..."No..No" She even took a few steps towards him but Damon shifted back and said

"No, not again. Women can't be trusted. I was so excited to see something beautiful like you but... GUARDS!!" As he calls out from guards two-four werewolf warriors came in front of him.

Moon, Sid, and Max followed them too and stand at a distance behind Alpha Because None of them wanted to interrupt, Also none of them had seen Alpha behaving like this like he is letting his obsession go, this is definitely not what Damon does then why?

"Go Back," Damon said again as Krystal was not moving an inch so at last, he ordered to guards...

"If She Steps Even An Inch Inside Break Her Legs"

"What? Alpha aren't you a bit too rude? Why you are behaving as a Demon" Moon said standing from a safe distance from him

"Then what's the problem with her, I am letting her go now. Why she is too hard to understand?"

"Maybe She..."

"No, whatever the reason is Not Allowed," Damon said looking at Krystal one last time, and then started heading inside.

Krystal started following him too but as Damon gave orders to the guards, They stopped her as soon as she crosses the Main gate.

Guard1: You can't cross this gate rogue

Krystal didn't listen to them and started strolling inside, however, this time Guards forcibly stopped her, by locking her arms back. Max wanted to help her thinking she is just a poor girl but Sid kept holding his hand while saying...

"She doesn't need your help"

As he said this, Max got a live representation of Sid's words when he saw, Krystal choking one guard while pushing his body to the ground with her leg. He was stunned... "WOAHHH!!! What is she?"

"I have a strong feeling that she will be our next Luna," Moon said and went inside the house

Damon was observing her from inside the palace but didn't utter a word to her instead he called the servants and ordered

"CLOSE EACH AND EVERY DOOR OF THE PALACE"
