I’ll never let you go

CHAPTER SIX

That was wishful thinking as soon as she hit a deep sleep the nightmare started she was back in the house reliving everything that happened her moms murder, her getting stabbed. And always at the same time she was jolted awake covered in a cold sweat and breathing hard. Ali got up off the bed changed her wet clothes, grabbed a sleeping pill and went into the bathroom to grab a glass of water. On her way back down she Hurd something that sounded like her mothers voice. She quietly walked Down the stairs a little bit and saw her dad watching old videos he had made with her mom. This one was one when she was pregnant for Ali. She watched as her dad wiped away tears. So this is what he did at night she thought to herself.  He missed her so much she honestly was everything to him. Ali quietly went back upstairs giving her dad the time he needed. She climbed back into bed and waited for the pill to kick in.

The next morning when  she woke up she felt groggy but not as groggy as the day before but again she didn't feel like getting dressed so it was another day of yoga pants and a t-shirt. She gathered everything she needed for school including the $1.75 she owed Bren she made sure to put that in cell phone case that way she didnt forget to pay him back. She grabbed a pop from the fridge said by to her dad since he had the day off and was out the door. 

When she got to school she parked her car and got out looking around the parking lot for Bren she spotted him a few rows over next to a huge black truck. And of course Bella was glued to his side. Ali grabbed $2 dollars from her cell phone case and walked over to him. When Bella seen her coming she grabbed onto Brenda arm holding him tight like a guard dog. Ali handed him the 2 dollars and walked away. When she got into the school Alexis was again waiting for her but she was by the lockers. She greeted Ali grabbed what they needed and headed for there first hour. 

When they reached the door to her first hour class Ali rolled her eyes she really didn't want to sit next to Bren but she had no choice " good luck" said Alexis with a smile " stop that it's not funny" said Ali as she opened the door " it is to me" said Alexis Ali flipped her the bird and closed the door Alexis smiled then walked away.  Bren was already siting at the table with his notebook open pretending to read. When Ali sat down next to him she slid her a quarter. " what's this she asked" picking it up " it's your change you only owed me $1.75" said Bren " wow I'm shocked you can count" said Ali opening up her notebook to take notes. " hey new girl do you have a pen I can use" whispered Bren " my name is not new girl it's Ali"  she whispered back as she handed him a pen and reached in her bag for a new one. Bren smiled and took the pen.

Her next three classes felt like they took for ever mainly because it was gym, math, and science all three subjects she hated so when lunch rolled around she couldn't be happier. She quickly closed her science book put it in her bag and went out there door where Alexis was waiting for her. " I'm so happy to be out of that class" said Ali as her and Alexis walked to the lunch room. This time they both got in line to get food the both got the pizza and fries, paid when went to sit at there table. All through lunch they talked and laughed for the first time in a while Ali felt like she could trust someone, a friend something she Hadn't had in a very long time.

When lunch was over both girls emptied there trays and went to there lockers to grab the books they needed for there next three hours. As they were walking to there next class Bella was coming down the same hallway and as she passed Alexis she knocked her books out of her hands. " b***h" said Alexis she didn't know that Bella had herd her till Bella said something " do you have something to say freak" Bella said to Alexis.  Ali could see that Alexis was getting nervous she wasn't a confrontational person and Ali knew that " yea she called you a b***h" Ali said and winked at Alexis who smiled at her. Bella stepped closer to Alexis and put her finger in her face she was about to say something when Ali grabbed her wrist. "you can take your damn finger out of her face" said Ali as she pushes Bella's hand away. 

Bella looked at her surprised like she was shocked someone stood up to her. Anger flashed across Bella's face and she pushed Ali causing the books and papers in Ali's hands to fall to the floor. By now a small crowd was forming around them and Without hesitation Ali smacked Bella across the face Bella grabbed her face then tried to swing back but someone pulled her away and someone grabbed Ali. " get her out of here Jon" said Bren to the guy that was holding Bella Jon did just that dragging a kicking screaming Bella down the hall " this ain't over b***h" Bella yelled down the hall as she was being pulled away. " any time any where" Ali yelled back and smiled.  " let go of me " she said to Bren as she pushed his arms away from her. She picked her stuff up from off the floor and started walking to class. Alexis quickly followed. " that was awesome thank you " said Alexis when she caught up to Ali " no problem I have had it with her thinking she can treat ppl like that and not suffer the consequences" said Ali " oh I think she suffered some today that was a hard smack I think you might have smacked the taste buds out of her mouth said Alexis  both girls laughed about it on there way to class.
