I’ll never let you go

CHAPTER FOUR

As people started flooding out of the class rooms Ali and Alexis grabbed her stuff from there lockers and started to walk outside. Alexis walked with Ali over to her car they said there goodbyes and Alexis went to her car that was just a few rows over. Ali started up her car and put it in reverse she was waiting for the cars to pass her when she was clear to go she backed up then put the car in drive and started for home. 

She pulled into the driveway parked her car, got out and went inside she made sure to lock the door behind her. She kicked off her shoes and went and sat on the couch she grabbed the remote from the coffee table and turned on the tv they didn't have cable so she watched what ever was on channel 13 around this time it was all  soap operas. She set her alarm form five so she remembered to get up and make dinner before her dad got home at 8. 

Ali didn't remember falling asleep but she was woke up to the sound of her phone alarm going off. She grabbed her phone off the stand and canceled the alarm. She rubbed her eyes and stretched then got up and walked into the kitchen tonight she was making tacos for dinner. She grabbed the meat from the fridge and put it in the pan and started cooking it.. she was happy she pulled the meat out the day before. 

When dinner was done she made her fathers plate and put it in the fridge then she made two for herself. She set her plate on the table then went to the fridge grabbed a pop. And sat down at the table she had finished her first one when she herd someone pull in the driveway a short time later her dad walked through the door. He too, his shoes off and went into the kitchen " tacos tonight huh" he asked Ali " yours I'm in the fridge" Ali replied her dad walked to the fridge grabbed his and a pop and sat down across from Ali. 

The both ate in silence for what seemed like forever when Ali went to get up and get more food her dad asked her how her first day went "really good" said Ali as she put the meat on her shell " is that all I'm going to get?" Asked Leon when she didn't give more detail. Ali sat back down across from him " there is nothing really to say today was just the tour" Ali replied " a whole day for a tour? How big is this place? Her dad asked and took a drink "huge" Ali replied " anything else" Leon asked Ali wanted so bad to tell him that she met someone that she feels could end up being a really good friend. She wanted to tell him all about the day she had even everything with Bella but she knew what her dad would say. " you can't make friends Ali cause you will be putting them in danger" she said in her head " no dad that was about it" said Ali she finished her food then put her plate in the sink grabbed her pop off the table and went upstairs to her room. She set her pop on the stand next to the Bed then flopped down on her bed. She hated that she couldn't have a normal life and have friends she wish her mom was around so she had someone to talk to. But she knew that she had no one to blame but herself for getting involved with Kevin. 

After a while Ali got off the bed and went into the bathroom to shower this was really her time to have a good cry or two think. Once in the bathroom she locked the door and started the Water and undressed  she stood in front of the mirror and looked at her body. She had a scar on her breast and she ran her finger over it. Then she went to the scar on her stomach and ran her finger over that one as well. She hated these scars they made her feel so ugly she had a nice body if not for these ugly ass scars she thought to herself. Ali turned away from the mirror staring at herself any longer was just going to make her hate herself even more them she already does. She hated it She used to be so confident in herself and now she had none.

After her shower Ali went into her room and got dressed she put on her pajama shorts and tank top then turned on the tv she figured she would watch a few showers then set the timer and go to sleep. But every time she closed her eyes that night played over and over again in her head. She remembers waking up in the hospital. Her dad was holding her hand with his head laying on the bed. Ali remembered a few things here or there about what had happened but she couldn't remember everything. That's when her dad told her that her mom was murdered, and that she had been stabbed, and beaten, and that he had r***d her what was worse is that Ali didn't even remember the r**e. She remembered that all this happened because of Kevin.  She just didn't know to what extent he had taken it.

Ali got up out of Bed and went over to her dresser and grabbed the sleeping pills that the doctor had gave her when she left the hospital. It had been a while since she took it but now with the nightmares being back she figured now whole be a good time to start taking them again but only when she needed to sleep. Ali popped the pill in her mouth and took a long drink of her pop and laid on her bed  and waited for the pills to kick in.
