I’ll never let you go

CHAPTER TWO

Ali  quickly sat up in bed she was breathing hard and covered in sweat. Once she calmed down she grabbed her phone and looked at the clock it was six in the morning she still had another half hour before she had to be up for school. But she knew there was no was she was going back to sleep. She  got out of bed took her wet clothes off and put on dry ones then went downstairs.. her father was at the kitchen table drinking a cup of coffee before work. Ali walked past him to the fridge and grabbed out a pop she opened it and took a long drink before she sat in the chair across the table from her dad. " your up early' said Leon  as he checked his watch " I couldn't sleep" Ali replied " that makes two of us" Leon replied as he got up from the table and walked over to the coffee pot and filled his cup. When he was finished he grabbed his lunch from the fridge and walked out the door. Ali missed the days where he would kiss the top of her head, and tell her to have a good day at school. But he Had not don't that in a while She knew her father blamed her for everything the death of her mother, and all the moving  around they had to do. So she didn't blame him for blaming her he'll she blamed herself everyday. Ali finished her pop then headed upstairs to get dressed for school. She put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt she brushed her long brown hair and went downstairs she put her shoes on and grabbed her keys that were hanging on the wall by the door and her backpack that was on the floor as she walked out. Before she got into her car she checked the back seat to make sure no one was hiding behind there. When it was clear and she knew no one was hiding in her back seat this time.she got in her car. Tossing her back back into the passenger seat. And closed the door. She started the engine and pulled out. She was not excited about being the new girl yet again but here she was. 

She arrived at the school a short time later and pulled into a parking spot, put the car in park, grabbed her bag and got out this school was huge compared to all the other ones she had been to. She swung her backpack over her shoulder and started to walk into the school when a black sports car pulled up beside her. The car was filled with pretty girls with fresh polished nails. " um excuse me your in my parking spot" said the driver with a little bit of an attitude these girls must have been the preppy girls, the ones that went about there care free life cause daddy got them whatever they wanted Ali thought. " go find another one" said Ali and rolled her eyes  and continued to walk into the school she didn't have time for this mean girl crap.  She just wanted to keep her head down and maybe stay in one spot for more the four months. Once inside she went into the office where she was greeted by a really friendly lady at the front desk.. she handed Ali her class schedule, locker number, and combination, before Ali walked out she lady smiled and said welcome to Reeths puffer. Ali smiled at her you know smile the one that says thank and that's not going to happen. And then walked out.

Ali thumbed through the papers in her hand she was shocked that there was no one to show her around what did the just expect her to just know where everything was in a place she had never been. "Are you Allison" someone said from behind her. When Ali turned around there was a girl standing there that didn't look she should be in night school" I'm Allison but call me Ali please" she said correcting the girl. " I'm Alexis I'll be the one showing you around today" the girl replied " I'm sorry how old are you? You look like your not even old enough to be in high school" said Ali she didn't want to come off as rude but she was almost certain that she did by the way this girl looked at her. Alexis smiled after a moment" I get that a lot. I'm 17"  " I didn't mean to come off as rude I apologize " said Ali when she realized she had offended the girl. " oh no Alexis replied I'm used to it I don't get offended anymore" she said and smiled. Ali was about 85% sure that that was a lie and she was offended.

The girl reached her hand out for the papers in Ali's hand she handed the papers over to Alexis who looked through them. Ali wanted to say something but she figured she better not since she had already stuck her foot in her mouth with her last comment. " your locker is this way" said Alexis and started walking Ali followed behind her. Her locker was down what the call the five hundred hall. Alexis showed her how to do the combination then they were off for a tour of the rest of the building. Buy this time the hallways was empty cause everyone had to go to class. " shouldn't we be in class" Ali finally asked " no ur first day is basically about giving u a whole tour of the school we have a lot to see and a lot of halls so we like to make sure you get a full walk through" Alexis replied  " wait I only get one day to be shown around" Ali asked shocked " we feel that's all the time you need" Alexis replied " are you kidding me" said Ali annoyed " one day to show me all this and to learn where I'm going this place is huge" Ali replied Alexis started laughing " I'm kidding you have me this whole week,  I'll show you to your classes everyday and be waiting for you when ur done" she said " thank god" said Ali and smiled. 

Just as they were coming up on what they call the 700 hall Ali was starting to get why the halls had the names they did all the numbers Down this  hall we're seven hundred and whatever. So that was making since. As they were walking this hall a girl stepped out of the bathroom it was a blonde skinny girl and as she got close Ali realized it was parking spot girl. As the girl walked past then she knocked all the things out of Alexis's hands Alexis didn't say anything she just bent down to pick up the scattered papers.
