Reina's POV
The next morning, I woke up earlier than usual. Soft morning light had already begun to seep through the curtains. For a moment, I remained still on the bed, adjusting to the quiet calm of the morning.
My gaze slowly drifted toward the sofa.
Damon was still there, sleeping peacefully. His tall frame looked slightly uncomfortable on the narrow sofa, and the blanket that was supposed to cover him had slipped off sometime during the night. It now lay crumpled on the floor beside him.
A faint sigh escaped my lips.
Carefully getting out of bed, I walked toward him, trying not to make any noise that might wake him. His face looked unusually relaxed in sleep.
