Sabrina’s POV
I watched as Celine walked out of the mall, a pleasant smile spread across my face. I relaxed back and turned to the manager in front of me.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” I snapped angrily.
They all nodded and scurry away.
My friends exchanged nervous glances as they watched me settle into the chair.
“Sabrina, are you sure this is okay?” one of them finally asked cautiously. “I mean…Dave Monstessori cherishes Celine so much”
My face hardened instantly.
“What are you trying to say?” I snapped.
She quickly shook her head. “Nothing. I didn’t mean…”
I cut her off angrily. “Dave is going to be my husband soon. How long do you think he would keep that orphan by his side?”
The room fell silent. They all thought for a moment before nodding quickly.
