I am running fast. The blur of green as I pass. I look around. All I see are trees, but I can hear James say, “Beth, don’t stay away, don’t come.”
But he is in pain, I can feel it. I have to get to him. I try to see where I am. All I can tell is it is night and on the colder side. When I reach him.
