When I wake, the sun is just setting. I start a fire and start some food. As I cook, the boys wake up. Gorm is the first. He walks over to me and sits down. I have come to the understanding that he likes me, but won’t talk. I hand him some food and he smiles. Birger wakes up and I give him his food.
“How much longer till we make it to your pack?” he asks me
“we should reach it by dawn depending on how fast you boys can fly. It’s 9pm now so we should be able to reach the pack boundary by 630am.” I tell them as we eat. I am still not sure about Birger, but I know I can trust Gorm.
