12 Taytra Taytra glances over her shoulder pleased to see that her sister has already disappeared into the false night. Shauna has always been good at that. Taytra thuds through the forest ‘careful’ to grab branches and pull them back as she runs, so they snap back against the others. The branches reach out and grab at the sheer material of her dress. The bark turns her hands red as her hands slip on one large branch, it snaps back clawing at her face. “Damn it.” She crouches low to the ground to get away, the finger-like twigs dragging several red lines across her face. Shauna, this better be worth it she thinks, crawling kicking logs out of the way.
