Chapter 7: Servant and Tiara

1357 Words
Gray’s Point of View Sabrina… Who the hell was Sabrina? “I’m not Sabrina. That’s not my name,” I told him, trying to tell him the truth. “Will you quit it?” Seven asked me as he manoeuvred our way to his car off which I know will leave off to somewhere I don’t know. “Try to tell lies and you’ll see what will happen,” he added, warning me. I gulped. Why was this man so adamant about me as Sabrina and not someone who he mistakenly took as his mate? I get it, I wore the gown that was supposed to be his mate’s but I doubt it if he actually has seen her. Nevertheless, the whole me felt something about him. Something about him that draws me to him. My body trembles as I look at Seven. He’s too tall, too broad, too dangerous. His dangerous aura clouded my senses, making it hard for me to think straight. He’s nothing like the boys in my college or even in my pack. He asserted too much confidence and power, and I knew he demanded respect with his presence. His dark dominance was doing something to my body, something I only heard from Eliza’s mouth. What was her word again? He makes every woman’s body react, something that drives them crazy. I felt drained from my body as the dark Rogue took a menacing step towards me. He was terrifying, everything about him was screaming danger and making my body light on fire. I bit down my lips as I was suddenly engulfed in his scent, he smelled like the forest and something expensive. My eyes closed at their own accord, my nose inhaling his intoxicating scent making desire settle in the pit of my tummy. I had never smelled something so good, so yummy. For the first time in her life desired through me, consuming me with a need so fierce. He was radiating too much power, making my body want to obey everything he commands. I knew he was also affected by me as his jaw was clenched, his nostril flaring and his eyes had turned to dark slits. My heart started to beat a million miles a minute, I could not believe this perfect male was someone who claimed me as his mate Sabrina. “Mine, my mate,” he growled, advancing towards me, making me take a tentative step back. His presence is becoming too much for me to handle now. I started to panic. I was not ready for this. Never in my dreams did I expect that someone like the Rogue King would be my mate, no, mistaken me as his mate. “I think you have me confused, I’m not your mate,” I whimpered, staring at him. Seven stared at me, a frown forming on his perfectly chiseled face. “You are mine, you belong to me,” he growled, emphasizing the word ‘me’. I took a deep breath and starts to look around my surrounding, trying to find some sort of escape. He probably sensed my plan, he took a step towards me, wrapping his arm around my waist bringing me to him, crushing my body against his, securing me. My body instantly went stiff as his hot minty breath tickled my ear. I felt the need for him to intensify. Seven’s teeth gently nibbled on my ear, making me bite down on my lip hard enough to draw blood. Unconsciously, I leaned my head against his shoulder, making him bury his face in the crook of my neck, he let out a soft growl of pleasure shifting his body against mine. Using all my strength, I pushed him from me but he only gave me a devilish smirk. “Let’s go. You are my healer, my mate, remember that.” Oh no…I’m not a healer. I’m just a demoted omega… I didn’t try to protest anymore as I entered the car because he wouldn't listen to any of my protests. I assumed that Sabrina was supposed to be at the Mating Ball grounds and not me. And that she was the one who should be there and wore the gown Seven claimed that came from him. I wanted to tell him that I was not her and that I just found the bag in the forest. And the best I could do was apologize when he realized his mistake. Something had started to nag in my head. What happened to Sabrina? And who were those people I saw talking? What if I tell him about what I heard? Would he believe me? I don’t think he would. “You go and apologise to your guards later. They have been frantically looking for you after the mating ball.” Guards? Does he mean the men that mistakenly took me as Sabrina? “O-okay,” I replied. A large castle came into my view as we entered through a thick forest. The castle was painted black, too eerie…suited for a Rogue King… Ruthless, dangerous… The car pulled to a stop in an area where other cars were parked, and the same red-haired man suddenly ran towards it and waited to open the door as it came to a stop. “Lady Sabrina!” The red-haired man said with teary eyes. I accepted his hand and steadily stepped out of the car, I was nervous on the inside and tried not to show it. I couldn’t imagine the look on the face of this man when he realized that he got the wrong person but I hoped that he'd let me off since it was their mistake. A woman whose head was already salt and pepper, came running from the Castle's huge entrance. "Lady Sabrina! Thank goodness, you're finally here! We've been looking for you after the mating ball. Please don't run away anymore. I'm begging you," she said. I don't really know who was this woman but I don't she's probably Sabrina's servant. The two men took their places by my side, with me being in the middle and Seven was nowhere to be found. We walked through a path which led to a building, my eyes widened at the sight of the magnificent structure before me. The lights illuminated the castle’s entrance, I could see some people laughing and holding conversations. Maybe there’s probably a party going on since it's already night when we arrived. The green eyed man chuckled lightly at my reaction. “I’m surprised this caught your fancy, the castle is more magnificent than this and you’re hardly fazed.” I tried not to roll my eyes at his words. “I’m just surprised, that’s all.” I tried to compose myself and act like how important person should be. I couldn’t blow my cover just yet. The words ‘You are the healer and the king’s mate, act like her’ was on repeat in my head. “Yeah, yeah. You are always busy training and you never have the time to notice other things. We expected you to ditch us halfway here but I didn’t expect the change of outfit-” The green eyed man said and stopped midway. “Where is your tiara, my lady?” I totally forgot about that! What is a Lady without her crown to complete her looks? I thought of an excuse. “ I must have dropped it somewhere?” They both facepalmed. “How could you lose it? What would the queen say?” “I’m sorry.” I stared at the ground. “You should not submit to us princess, Blaze might just surprise us.” The red-haired man whose name was Blaze walked away and returned a few seconds later with a silver tiara in his hand. “Good thing, I always have an extra.” My eyes were on the tiara, it was glittering and looked very expensive. ‘It would be able to get a lot from this if I sell it’ I tried not to let my inner thoughts show on my face. “That’s weird.”
