him. “And who’s idea was it?” I asked him, still irritated. He chuckled. “I was trying to help to find your little mate, Seven,” he said. “Maybe this little mate of yours is probably in that school,” he added. “She’s a healer for f**k sake-” “But you're one big bad bad king, Seven. She’s probably afraid of you that’s why she ran away and left the dress you custom made,” he added. “Ugh…” “Now go and report. Maybe if you’re lucky enough, you’ll find your run away little mate there.” Against my will, I arrived. As I entered the piece of junk school, I saw jocks and cheer leaders ganging on a girl. She was badly beaten. Her back was at me and I couldn’t see who she was. Bullying was common in Pack wolves. I don’t blame them, their leaders could’t care. In my kingdom, bullying is punishable by death. Rogues do not tolerate power gaps nor abuse the leader’s power. "Red had persuaded me to go to this piece of junk university, and this is the scene that greeted me?" Pissed. The woman in red who's back behind me squatted in front of a man and grabbed his collar. I could see the man's face pale, and he mumbled something from his shivering lips. I saw him trembling in fear. "I apologize, your Majesty. I will not do it again," the man pleaded. "Do you realize bullying someone weaker than you won't make you strong, Lenard. You are a piece of trash. If you do this again, I'll toss you to the den of feral wolves and watch you being eaten alive. Do you understand?" she warned him calmly, but I could feel hatred. Lenard nodded desperately. "Good," Gemini said, fixing his creased collar. "Now, go to your class and make use of your head." Lenard picked up his bag and ran to wherever his class was along with the cheerleader who seemed to be his girlfriend. "Seven," another powerful voice booms into the hallway where I was standing. That powerful voice came from the Pack Wolves’ next in-line king, Zion walking towards me. He’s Gemini's eldest brother. Gemini tilted his head, sniffing my scent before turning around and welcoming me with a big smile. I was speechless when I finally saw Princess Gemini. A girl would be too simple of a word to describe her. Her heart-shaped face set in a scowl. Her sharp straight nose accents her full pink lips, shaped like a cupid's bow with such perfection, giving her an otherworldly look. She was beautiful, no doubt about it. But her eyes are cobalt blue eyes, full of maliciousness, danger, and creepiness, and her slit left eyebrow otherwise says this woman wasn't just a woman. She could be the perfect pair for me but no. My mate’s more than enough for me. She’s….goddess. The scowl on her face vanished, and her face became playful when she looked at me. "Oh, if it isn't the Almighty Rogue king," she smirked, walking towards me and his brother. "For the love of Goddess, quit calling me that," I groaned and rolled my eyes. "Anyway, the first day of school, and here you are creating a ruckus,” Zion said, offering his hand to his sister. Zion took it, and helped his sister to balance herself. "I had to put the brat in his place. I can't tolerate bullying," Gemini replied, and her eyes wandered before falling to me. She gave me a flirtatious smile. "Are you okay?" Zion asked. The poor girl stood up, struggling to balance herself, and then turned her head towards us. My eyes widened when our eyes met. That’s her! "I…I'm fine y-your h-highnesses. T-thank you," she replied nervously. "Bring him to their pack doctor. And tell her Alpha, I need a report about this one. He's malnourished," Zion said, “Are you okay?” I asked her as I gently held her arm. “Ah-I’m okay…K-King.” Her minty breath fanning my face before I touched her face and tipped her chin to access her face. She was trembling, yet she gave me chills and a smile of fear. A kind of smile that a prey gives when they are cornered. "Report back to me when the Alpha is notified," Zion commanded his personal assistant, which he immediately answered. "Understood, Your Highness," he answered, pulling my mate toward the car. My wolf was furious. “Mind if I take good care of her instead of her pack?” I asked Zion, giving me a weird look. “Okay. Go ahead. She’s in your care,” Zion replied without asking any further despite Gemini’s silent protest. I took the girl’s trembling body. She knew who I was and probably remembered what happened between us during the mating ball. I saw her gulping as she was entering my car. “I didn’t expect you to find you here,” I said as I put on her seat belt before waking up my car’s engine. "W-what do you mean?" she said in a small voice. "Mating ball. You wear the gown I bought for you and yet you dare to run away from me?" I answered. “You are my mate and my healer. We already talked about it before. Don’t you remember?” There was a moment of confusion in her eyes but suddenly died down. "You were scheduled to return home with me after the ball but you ran away instead. Am I that scary?” I added. She nodded as fear was already displayed in her eyes. I rolled my eyes. Never I expected that my mate would be bullied and didn’t consider a special wolf. Healers are made for rogues and Pack wolves could care less. "You will be coming with me. I should have taken you with me after the mating ball if only you didn't disappear, little mate." "But I'm-" "You don't need to explain yourself. You're mine, Sabrina." Her nervousness intensified. And for some reason, it tasted delicious. I love her fear. I loved all of them…
