Next morning, Steve woke feeling very uncomfortable about something. He laid there wide awake just listening to her quietly breathing beside him.
What was it? His sixth sense was screaming at him and he had that sick feeling in his stomach. She awoke and asked him what was wrong?

"I don"t hear anything."
"I don"t either, but something is wrong."
He slipped out of bed and eased the door open a c***k. Looking out he could see the sun was just breaking over the eastern wall.

"Listen," he said, then he noticed the wolf was back and she was staring straight at the game trail where the plane had crashed. She was staring hard with her ears back and the hair on her back was straight up.
