I spotted justin right away in the middle of the ballroom. his blond hair and blue eyes, his muscular build, he looked so handsome in his suit. He hasn't noticed me yet, which i'm ok with, i am a little bit nervous for him to announce that we are mates.

I started walking towards him, but stopped when i saw a blonde woman in a black and gold dress approach him. They seemed close with his hand on her waist i felt a tug on my heart.

He finally noticed me and i saw him mouth the word 'mate' and i instantly got happy. I am his mate! But the happiness didn't last long. He made his way over with the blonde girl still by his side.

"may..." he started out "this is sevie" gesturing to the blonde woman. "uh, hi sevie i am may" unsure of whats about to happen. The woman gave me a trying to be nice but didn't like me look. "what's going on justin?" my heart is pounding and im barely breathing.

Everyone went silent after seeing us three standig here "may...we are mates" my face lit up at him saying that we are mates "But i can't make you my luna...you are just an omega with no wolf, so i will be making sevie my luna" there were gasp all through the room. i was frozen in place trying to process what he was saying.

" I, justin meyer, alpha heir to the claw pack, reject you, may moon, as my mate and as my luna." The pain hit instantly and i didnt want anyone to see me cry so i turned and ran out the ballroom door and just kept running until i was at the edge of town.

I looked back, not a person in sight. So i let my body fall on the ground crying out in pain, blood dripping out of my mouth. A rejection wounds a wolf severly, but for someone who has no wolf, it could be deadly. The pack members started coming out of the pack house and i said to myself "I need to get out of here."

I took off my heels and ran into the woods, i wasnt sure how far i had run before i had collapsed onto the ground. The pain too unbearable for me to keep running. Just before i had fallen completely unconscious, i felt the air around me shift, and a deep growl the made my chest rattle. and i thought to myself, this is it. This is how i will die, rejected by my boyfriend and mate, then finished off by something out here in the woods.
