Diana finally got off Alpha Darren's back who was still in his wolf form.
She stroked his head gently and even made their heads touch each other. She closed her eyes, trying to convey to him that she was safe so he could return to human form again.
That made the anger inside Alpha Darren slowly evaporate. Little by little, he was transformed back into his human body.
Diana finally opened her eyes. Her face and Alpha Darren's face were no distance apart. Their noses touched each other.
With teary eyes, she held his cheeks. “Thank you.”
It was then that Alpha Darren finally fully returned to his human mind. And he immediately hugged Diana very tightly.
“Are you hurt?”
Diana shook her head in his warm embrace.
Alpha Darren breathed a sigh of relief. “I almost lost you again.”
