Diana walked quickly and got into the car. She wrung out her messy clothes as if to mock her for the state of her heart.
“What did you expect from that man, Diana?” She thumped her chest. “He's just a jerk who became an Alpha and used you as a tool to take revenge on your family.”
Diana really regretted why she was so afraid to run away. If only she had followed her crazy thoughts to leave Pack Kyne with her brother back then, she might not have married Alpha Darren.
