Canis could smell a different atmosphere in the office this morning when Alpha Darren and Diana came in together and both of their faces were beaming.
She had tried hard to shake off her suspicions of them after accidentally seeing them still in the office when everyone else had gone home.
Canis had left her house key behind and when she went back to retrieve it, she found Diana in Alpha Darren's room.
What they were talking about, Canis didn't know but she suspected something.
“Are they cheating on their partners?” Canis covered her mouth in shock.
She looked back at Diana and Alpha Darren in turn, and then imagined if they were really in a relationship.
“I was just joking at the time. Did Diana take it seriously?”
