After the call was hung up, Diana grabbed her phone again.
“Stay out of my business.”
“Didn't we agree to know each other's business? You also let me be your home.”
She sighed and turned off her phone.
“With you saying that to my mom, she'll remember it forever.”
“That's good,” Alpha Darren said quickly.
“And if she finds out that you didn't really do it, then that's the end of my story. She'll keep attacking me until she's satisfied.”
That's what Miranda was like. She would indeed prove someone's word and promise and then use it as a weapon. Because if the promise was not kept, then she was the one who benefited from getting a new weapon.
