I got into my apartment, and let out a huge sigh. Walking over to my bedroom, I sent my father a text message, telling him that I had arrived and was safely back in my apartment.
I had already informed him before boarding the flight, that I had been leaving, so this was kinda like and update.
The phone rang almost immediately, and I sighed again when I looked at it and saw that it was in fact, my father.
I didn’t want to talk now. That’s why I had texted.
Reluctantly, I answered and placed the phone on my ears, using my shoulders to wedge it as I got busy.
The apartment was cleaned out already, by my housekeeper, heaven bless her soul.
