Two days later, and William is no closer to finding out anything about Lycans, or anything else that could resemble “his kind” as stated by his father when he saw Paige coming towards him.

“We need to go, the Black Forest pack has arrived for our meeting” she said and just kept on walking, not waiting for William to respond. When William walked into the room, he could hear the place suddenly becoming deadly quiet, and all eyes were transfixed onto him.

“This is William, son of Gabriel, the one you have been seeking” said Adolf.

“That smell, it is them, they are here!” said Sebastian. “The wolves that were following us at home, they are amongst these people.” William looked around the room, and he stopped when he saw 6 wolves in the room.

“They, young William, are already in wolf form should this be a trap” said the one man, and William immediately thought that he must be the Alpha.

“I am Beta of the Black Forest pack. I will report back to our Alpha should we find the information supplied to be true. Now, we believe there is something you wanted to discuss”

“A truce, and in exchange for peace for the pack that has been hunted for so long by your pack, we will provide you with the location of the man that killed your Alpha and took your Luna all those years ago” said Adolf. “Further, because we have had many losses over the years, we would also propose a meaningful relationship between the two packs, where we could strengthen our pack with males from your pack. We have females, but lack males due to your killing of them. I have a daughter, and she is to be the next Luna, she will need a mate to become our next Alpha”

William looked at Paige, and he saw no surprise in her eyes. “They must have agreed to it already” William said to Sebastian.

“A truce will be granted, and we will offer our Alpha’s second son as mate to your daughter” said the Beta. “It has been decided and approved, on condition that your information is true”

William looked around the room, and it was then that he noticed the one wolf was quite bigger than the others. “He must be the Alpha, I can feel the power emanating from him” said Sebastian.

“I will give you his exact whereabouts, but on one condition of my own” said William.

“And what might that be” asked the Beta.

“I want to be the one that kills him!” William said, and you could hear gasps as the people in the room looked around, murmuring between them.

“It is highly unusual, but I am sure that you have a reason for it, which I do not want to discuss now, that is for another time,” said the Beta.

Without waiting for an answer from the Beta, William walked over to the wolf he thought was the Alpha. As William looked him straight in the eyes he said, “Do we have a deal? My father dies at MY HAND”

The wolf turned around and walked away, and as the Black Forest pack started to turn to follow, the Beta said “We have a deal, now tell us where to find Gabriel”

“He has been living in South Africa, in a small town called Howick ever since he left Germany” said William. “I have some unfinished business here, and as soon as I am ready, we can go and we can all get our revenge. Until such a time that I am ready, nothing is to happen to him”

“It will be so” William heard another voice, and as he turned around he looked at a man that was standing at 6”7 tall, broad shoulders, muscular build, blond hair and blue eyes. “I am Hans, Alpha of the Black Forest pack. The information you have provided has already been confirmed”

“You two spies following me back home” said William. “I could smell them here, but if you knew about my father, where he lived, why have you never done anything?”

“Because, you William, we needed to be 100% sure, and as nobody in our pack has seen Gabriel, we couldn’t just go and kill everyone in Howick. We heard about the pack 2 months ago, and sent our two best trackers there. They found the pack, but you were the only person that we knew of that was a wolf. They followed you, but you were never seen with another werewolf, and then when we did finally see him, you were told to come here, and they decided to follow you back here and report back to me.”

“Me? How did you know I existed? Why me?” asked William.

“Let me just say, how can I put it, you William are “Einzigartig”, you are ……….unique” said Hans.

“Unique? One of a kind. My kind?” can someone start telling me what this all means instead of speaking in riddles” said William.

“I am sorry William, we are unable to help with that, but all I know is of the prophecy that our true leader, the leader of all wolves, will be born, and every wolf will feel his pain, feel his joy in life. We have been drawn to you through an unknown bond. I cannot tell you why, but the prophecy also speaks of the one Luna, the one with fire in her eyes, fire in her soul, and when she smiles at you, the stars smile down at everyone. The stars will be seen emanating from her eyes and face. Together with his Luna, our true leader will bring peace to the world; bring happiness like it has never been known. You young William, I believe have a part to play in this, what it is I cannot say, but somewhere you will feature in this. Who knows, maybe you will be the one that becomes the father of the true leader. Until everything is revealed, in due time, we await the glorious day. Now tell me, what is it that you need to do first, your unfinished business?” asked Hans.
