“They are,” he agreed warmly. Then his expression shifted slightly. “How was your run? Did you run into anyone out there?”

“Oh, right,” he said with a small laugh. “I forgot werewolves could do that.”
I grinned slightly. “I may need to give you a werewolf crash course at some point.”
“That would probably help. It’s been a very long time since I’ve spent time around any werewolves.”
“We can do it later,” I said, glancing down at the dirt covering my legs. “I seriously need a shower first.”
