Unexpected Mate

    Lavender began going crazy in the back of her mind, "Go find him! He is Here!  Our mate is here!" 

Ara looked around. Eliza gave her a look, "What's going on Ara, what's wrong?" she asked slightly alarmed. Ara let go of her arm "My mate, he's here." she mumbled as she slowly headed for the vine-covered gazebo. As she got close enough to see who it was, she gasped softly, "Brice....." she whispered. He looked up at the sound of her voice and stood moving quickly to her. As their eyes met, she felt that same electric charge from that morning in her room, but stronger. She looked up into his eyes and all she wanted to do was kiss him. 

"Hello, Arabella." He said with a soft smile. He pulled her close to him and Ara closed her eyes. SHe couldn't believe it. Her childhood best friend was her mate. The Alpha's son. She opened her eyes slowly as she felt him gently kiss her neck. "I've been waiting so patiently for this moment. I didn't want to spoil the surprise."

Ara felt the growing pressure of the electric charge between them, and finally, it became too much and she wrapped her legs around his waist and crushed her lips to his. She tangled her fingers in his messy hair and he held her tightly as they kissed.

Suddenly they broke apart and Brice put her down as someone cleared their throat. It was Ara's father. She blushed deeply as her father spoke, "I see that you've found your mate my dear." Arabella nodded and moved a little closer to Brice "Yes sir. I did." Her father nodded and motioned for them to follow. He led them back to the gathering and over to Alpha Jareth. Brice held Arabella's hand gently as they walk, which provoked a lot of gasps and whispered remarks from their packmates.

"Brice, Arabella, it makes me happy to see that you have found a mate in one another." Alpha Jareth said softly. "Ara this means that you are to be the next Luna of the Northern Emerald Moon pack." She grew a little pale but nodded in understanding. "Tomorrow you will begin shadowing Luna Anita, so as to learn the duties you will be expected to take care of once you are Luna."

He looked between the two of them, before looking to Brice. "It is up to you, if you chose to mark her and mate with her tonight, or if you chose to wait until another time, but we wish you both all the best in your relationship. You are both dismissed for the evening." They both nodded and Brice led Ara over to where Eliza and some of their other friends waited.
