“Oh my goodness, he’s gorgeous!” Eira squealed as her and the other women surrounded Lacresha and her little one.
“Ha, thank you.” Lacresha said, wiping tears from her eyes.
Destin left before he was able to see his son, but he was going to be back, once he finished packing up with the other men.
“I can’t wait for his mother to see him.” Lacresha said. “Destin told me how she was saddened because he couldn’t bare children.”
“Yeah, but you guys gave her something to look forward to.” Eydis said.
“Uh uh, now it’s your turn.” Eira said.
While all the women were talking, Leora couldn’t help, but to envy the women. They all had something she always wanted: A family of her own. Sigurd hasn’t touched her and she wasn’t sure if she was ever going to get her wish.
“Leora, are you okay?” Ana asked the Wiccan.
Leora turned to Ana and nodded her head.
“You did amazing out there in the pits.” Eydis said. “I’m happy you were able to take Sigurd away from that annoying b***h of his.”
“Yeah, but I’m starting to regret doing that.”
Everybody turned to her.
“Why?” Eydis asked.
“He hasn’t touched me since it happened.” She said. “We kissed, but that was it. I’ve been untouched for 4 years and I’m so frustrated. He turns me on and yet, I can’t bed him. I want what you guys have and that’s a family. I want a baby of my own to call me ‘mama’ and to share an unconditional bond with. But, I guess that will never happen the way he is.”
Leora’s eyes welled up with tears and the young Wiccan rushed out of the room before anybody could stop her. Eira felt so bad for her older sister. She was definitely going to talk to her husband about that.
“I can see why she’s so upset.” Lacresha said. “She wants something that Sigurd is preventing her from.”
“Ugh, my brother’s an ass for this.” Eydis said. “I’m definitely going to have words with him.”
“No, it’s okay.” Eira said. “Brynjar and Dusty will handle it.”
And they were definitely on it. While they were waiting for the others, Dusty and Brynjar walked off to the dining area.
“Sigurd has upsetted my sister.” Dusty said as the two wandered off.
“Sigurd is still upset with Alva and her words of negativity.” Brynjar said. “But, he needs to move on.”
“We need to figure something ou-.”
Dusty and Brynjar turned when they saw Leora running out of the castle.
“Leora!” Dusty shouted.
Brynjar and Dusty dropped their bags and ran after her. They got outside and Dusty used his Dragon’s sense to follow her scent. He turned to the left and he ran off in the direction with Brynjar behind him. It didn’t take long for them to catch up with her.
“Dusty, what did I do wrong?” Leora asked. “Everybody’s having children, except me. It’s like Sigurd doubts me or something. Maybe I should just let him go back to her. It seems that’s what he wants, anyways.”
“My brother just needs help, ridding himself from his ex-wife.” Brynjar said.
“But, she should never feel like this, Brynjar.” Dusty said.
“Give me a day to talk to him.” Brynjar said. “If my words don’t work, then Dusty, we’ll try it your way.”
“Fine.” Dusty sighed, then he turned to Leora. “Did you pack your stuff?”
“Not yet.” She told him.
“Go get ready, okay?”
“Yes, brother.”
Leora hugged Dusty before she walked back off to the building. On her way to her room, she hears Alva crying and talking to Hilda, her sister.
“I f*****g hate that stupid Wiccan!” She cried to her sister. “Taking Sigurd away from me! I can’t wait to hear what his mother has to say once we touch down in Drangar!”
“She’s going to be a pissed off Mama Dragon due to the fact that she was the one who hooked you and Sigurd up.”
“Ugh!”
Alva threw a book at the door, causing Leora to jump from the unexpected sound.
“I hope she f*****g dies!” Alva exclaimed. “She ruined my marriage and she probably was the one who ruined your relationship with Dusty! That Wiccan is nothing, but trouble.”
“What are we going to do about her? I won’t let her get close to Sigurd on the boat back home. She needs to stay far away from him. She thinks Sigurd is going to make a baby with her after the way he is feeling. He’s too stuck on you at the moment.”
“And I’m going to make sure he stays stuck on me. Sigurd and I have been together far too long for a inexperienced Wiccan to come and try to play the ‘wife role’ with him. He’ll come running back to me if I gave him some.”
Leora was hurt listening to those two evil bitches speak about her. As she walked off, she ran into Sigurd. He was carrying her bag and his, along with a small bag filled with Elijah’s stuff. Leora glanced up at him before she turned the other way.
“What’s wrong?” Sigurd asked her.
“....Nothing.” She said, drying her eyes before she reached up for her bag.
“I got it; don’t worry.”
“I don’t want you to carry my bag if it’s going to be a burden for you…. Like I am.”
“What?”
“....Nothing.”
Leora tried to walk off, but Sigurd dropped the bags before he grabbed her hand, pulling her back to him.
“Leora, talk to me.” Sigurd begged.
Leora shook her head at him, pulling her arm away from him.
“I don’t want to cry again.” She said. “It’s best if I keep my mouth shut.”
“Leora, if it’s me, then say something. I don’t want to upset you at all.”
Tears fell down her cheeks and she gave him a small smile.
“Too late… You already did.”
She walked into the room to grab Elijah. When she came back out with the child in her arm, Alva snapped.
“Let go of him, you f*****g witch!” She shouted at Leora as she rushed over to her.
Leora held on to Elijah and before Alva could get to her, Sigurd shoved her back. the Dragoness fell onto the ground just as Hilda came out of the room.
“Sigurd, what the heck?!” She shouted at him.
She walked up to Sigurd, ready to slap him in the face, but Brynjar grabbed a hold of her arm, keeping it in the air. Hilda turned her eyes to Brynjar, snatching away from him.
“Don’t touch me.” She said.
“You dare swing at my brother in front of me?” Brynjar asked her. “Not you, Hilda.”
Hilda walked over to Alva and helped her sister up. Alva snarled at Brynjar, who just smirked at the angry woman in front of him.
“You can’t get mad.” Dusty said. “You lost not only your husband, but your child as well. And I want you to try that s**t again. Don’t ever try to walk up on my sister while she’s holding him or while she’s alone. I will handle you myself.”
Dusty turned his eyes from Alva to Hilda. Hilda shook her head and grabbed her sister’s hand and the two walked off. However, Alva whispered an insult to Leora before minding her business and leaving with her sister.
“Stupid Wiccan.” She whispered.
