Karen slowly opened the kitchen door after she heard Mica's footsteps as she started walking away. She peeked from the slight opening of the kitchen door to see that she was climbing up the stairs. Her brows furrowed immediately as she knew where she was heading and waited until she had climbed to the top of the stairs before she came out of the Kitchen, and started climbing the stairs too as quietly as she could so that she would not attract attention to herself.
She saw when Mica opened the door to David's room and how she entered the room, her lips unconsciously raised a little in scorn as she peered at the door that was still slightly open.
"What are you doing here, Mica?" David asked as he turned to Mica as soon as he turned to her, trying to sound alright.
