Karen looked closely at the piece of paper in her hand where she had written the address Mica called for her over the phone to make sure she is at the right address.
"Where is Mica?" She asked inwardly, standing in front of the house after looking around in search of Mica but no sign of her. "Or has she gone into the house already?" She asked inwardly again, staring at the house. The place looked deserted, she thought, slowly taking a few more steps closer to the house.
She lifted her hands to knock on the door but the door went slightly open as the door wasn't locked properly.
"Hello," she called out, peeking into the house, feeling a little awkward, and turning to glance behind her shoulders. "Hello," she called again when she heard no response and slowly walked into the house.
