David Anderson jumped out of sleep, startled by his cell phone that just started ringing on his table in front of him.
He had dozed off in the office last night where he was thinking about Karen.
David lifted he and Karen's picture off his chest and stared at it for a while before he unconsciously turned his gaze to stare at his phone that started ringing again after it had stopped the first time, pressing his lips together wishing that the phone didn't ring to wake him up like this as he was better of sleeping and not having to worry about Karen.
