Mica whistled as she went into her room, she quickly went and pulled open the wardrobe that had her clothes in it and without wasting time she began to scramble through it. She needed to pick out some really nice outfit, one that would look so good on her in such a way that David would not be able to resist her, she thought.
David slowly sat on the couch after Karen disappeared into the curtains again, suddenly feeling exhausted because of Karen's stare. He leaned forward afterwards and lifted his palms to cover his face, trying to get rid of the exhaustion, "this is not the time to feel like this," he said inwardly, knowing that he still has until all this was over before he could start feeling this way, besides he had said that he will do his best to allow Karen to take him back.
