Kidnap

Tania entered the parking lot and exhaled slowly, a long cloud of vapor floated up before her eyes. She shivered and wrapped her arms around herself. There was a cold front coming in tonight. Looking around, the first thing she noticed was the mostly empty parking lot. A black van with tinted windows was parked next to her car… no it looked more like the van was squeezed right up next to hers. With a frown, she noticed she was unable to get in through the driver's side. Exasperated she cursed under her breath and walked to the passenger side thinking she could just crawl over the center console. She opened the passenger side door and tossed her bag in when she heard a car engine roar to life. Glancing up, she saw three men in black face masks running around her car. Tania’s eyes widened and she leaped into the car and tried to pull the door closed. Unfortunately, the men were faster. One slid over the hood of her car and grabbed the door handle before she could get it closed. Yanking it roughly, Tania, whose hand was still on the door handle, was pulled out, her body dangling. “AHHH! HELP HELP!” Tania shrieked as loudly as she could. One man picked her up by her waist and hauled her over to the van that was now pulling out of the parking spot. Another went back in and grabbed her purse before following them. Tania struggled desperately. Reaching over, she tried to grab his thigh to bite him but the man was faster. Shaking her like a rag doll he growled, “Behave yourself if you want to keep your teeth.” In terror, Tania looked around wildly and screamed, “HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! HELP! Ugh…” The man threw her into the van and got in himself followed by the other two large men. Tania never felt so small in her life. She shrunk into a corner of the van. “Please! I have some cash in my purse. Take everything! Just spare me!” The men exchanged looks and then grinned at her. “Don’t worry. If you cooperate with us, we’ll let you go home in one piece.” Tania nodded furiously, trying to act as cooperatively as possible. “What do you want?” One of the men pulled out her cell phone and tossed it towards her. “Call your boyfriend.” Tania frowned. “I don’t have a boyfriend.” Suddenly her head snapped 90 degrees, her body lurching to the side. With a trembling hand, she lifted it to touch her burning cheek. “Don’t mess with us. Call your boyfriend or your face is going to be as bloated as the rest of your body.” Tania cowered and whimpered. “I really… I really don’t have a boyfriend. I just annulled my marriage with my husband not too long ago.” The man scoffed. “Oh I see, your husband must have divorced you because you cheated on him. But, I don’t see what any man sees in you.” He eyed her disdainfully from top to bottom. “You’re nothing to look at. Do you have any special skills in bed?” Looking at the other two men he grinned wolfishly, “What do you guys think? Should we have a taste?” The other men chuckled at the thought. “I’ve never had a chubby girl before, maybe it would be a good change in pace.” Tania sobbed and pulled her legs to her chest, trying to become an inconspicuous ball. “Please! I don’t know what you want. Who are you looking for?” The last man, seemingly the most gentle of the three, spoke up softly. “Theo Jones, that A-list actor, you know him right?” Tania shook her head. Whatever she did, she couldn’t drag her idol into this mess. “I don’t know him. I really don’t!” Irritated, the first man grabbed her wrist and yanked her forward into his chest. Tania’s ample breasts mashed against his muscular torso. “Don’t lie, b***h. We know you have a relationship with Theo. Call him over now or you’ll get hurt.” Reaching down he squeezed her buttocks viciously. Terrified of what was going to happen, something in her broke. Tania screeched and lunged forward, teeth bared. The next moment was pure chaos. The man howled and slammed Tania viciously against the side of the van again and again. “s**t! The b***h bit my ear!” Tania slid down the side of the van and slumped in an awkward position. The other two men jumped in; one held the first man down before he could lunge for Tania and the other raced to Tania’s side. “f**k, man! Did you have to slam her so hard!?” The third man rushed forward to check on Tania. “She’s still breathing. Damn! Stop messing around and just get her to the boss. He’s not going to like it if she gets beat up. You know how he is around women hostages.” “The b***h bit me! f**k! I hope the boss lets me have her after he’s done. I’m going to f*****g kill her.” “Cool down, man. Here, just hold this cloth to your ear until the bleeding stops.” The first man huffed angrily and glared at Tania’s limp form. “Stupid b***h. I’ll get you for this.” *** When Tania came to, she couldn’t see anything and she had a terrible headache. Unable to sit up, she carefully felt around on the floor. It felt cold and rough, like cement. Wherever she was, it wasn’t a good place. “I see you’ve come to.” Tania’s body stiffened, and she turned her head slowly towards the sound. “Who are you? Where am I? What do you want with me?” She spewed out her questions and grimaced. She shifted her body to get into a more comfortable position and groaned, the splitting headache was killing her. “Who did this?” Tania could hear the anger in the man’s voice. The voice of the man who kidnapped her spoke up. “I’m sorry sir. She bit my ear in the car so I slammed her into the v..” BANG! Tania jerked at the loud sound and the subsequent thump of a large mass hitting the floor. The room started to stink of rust and piss. Whimpering, she curled up into a ball and sobbed as quietly as she could. “Clean this s**t up.” The voice spoke again. Tania tried to look but she couldn’t see anything. Wait… how does someone shoot in the dark? Tania opened her eyes wide and waved her hands in front of her eyes. “No… no… no,” she screamed, “Are the lights off in the room?!” There was a long silence and only the sound of a large body being dragged across the floor could be heard. Tania felt a presence kneel next to her and she turned her head towards it. “...” Tania opened her eyes wide and tried to grasp the person next to her. Her hands connected with a muscular arm and she grabbed on tightly. “What’s going on? Why… why can’t I see any more? Please… please help me!” Tania heard the snap of a finger. “Get the doctor.” Tania tried to move but dizziness washed over her. “I need… to vomit,” she huffed. Sweat beaded over her knotted brows and she felt her eyelids droop lazily. Next, she knew, she couldn’t hear anything anymore as she slipped out of consciousness. *** Dorian looked at the woman in his arms. She didn’t look anything special but the fear in her voice and the way her face contorted in pain ripped his heart apart. The image of the woman he loved superimposed over Tania’s face. Without realizing it, he started hyperventilating. His eyes glazed over as he thought of her. She was his girlfriend and the mother of his child. She was six months pregnant when gangsters captured her and tortured her on video. Dorian found the flash drive with an ultimatum: he had 24 hours to come get her himself. It wasn’t a hard decision. Dorian was rushing out the door when his father knocked him out and threw him back into his room. Dorian was chained to his bed and left there. The hours felt like a lifetime. When the door to his room was finally opened again, he received the news that his woman and their child were dead. The culprits were never found. Dorian emerged from that room a different man. Since then, he worked like the devil and soon succeeded his father in the family business. He had only one goal: take over the whole underworld and find the fuckers who killed his woman. “S… Si…!!” Dorian looked up, still dazed. “Sir! The doctor is here!” Dorian blinked and looked back down to find Tania still in his arms. “Here.” He handed Tania to the doctor and stood up. Running his large hand through his hair, he looked down at the attending doctor. “Patch her up as best as you can. Make sure she’s okay.” The doctor nodded, “Yes, sir. I was told she may have a concussion. Did she vomit or have any other symptoms?” One of the henchmen spoke up quickly, “She mentioned she wanted to vomit but passed out before then.” The doctor nodded, “I will need to run an MRI on her so I’ll be taking her with me.” Dorian nodded. “Do what you need to do.” Turning to a man with a purse draped over his arm he scowled. “Is that hers?” The man looked down surprised. “Oh, yes. Her phone is here.” He pulled out Tania’s cell phone and handed it to Dorian. Dorian glanced at the cell phone and took it without a word. Twirling it in his hands, he pondered his next step.
