The Beginning Of A Sign

Ch. 01

When the citizens of Hellevator, Heavenelevator residents are active like the city in general. Peace always surrounds them.

Technology is still adequate, endless basic necessities, and a life without fear of outside monsters.

A young man casually bathed preparing himself to activation the Chaser candidate. With the ability he honed for approximately 10 years, he was sure to become a Chaser easily.

And..

Being able to find out the shocking things that have recently shocked him.

Back to the previous days,

His father, Orlenio Liam, was a professor of vanator technology (the organization where the Chasers) brought home lionsa (lens systems that show user statistics) which he would update and test in his home laboratory.

At dinner,

"Axelle, I need your help after dinner. Are you ready?"

"Why should I?"

"If you don't want to, I'll take someone else."

"You don't want to take me?" Said a 17-year-old woman.

"Kana, I need someone with O. You're a blood type with your mom and dad."

"Hmph"

"Hahaha. You can try it later, kana."

"Really? Yes"

Axelle just rolled his eyes disinterested. Axelle wasn't interested in monsters, chasers, and so on.

After dinner, Axelle decided to enter his room. He plays with his phone staring flatly at the same news continuously. Bored, he turned to his computer.

"Demon? Ahh they're back bragging about that monster again. “

Disinterested, Axelle turned his eyes to a photo of a tattoo that inexplicably caught his eye.

"Argh. It happened again."

Axelle blinked his eyes many times to clear his eyes. The pain that is like someone is giving his eyes sand does not go away. Axelle grabbed an eye drop but didn't help at all.

He then went to the bathroom,

He accidentally opened a web containing Demon information.

He tried to give tears to his eyes. Still unhelpful. He gave up and went to his father's lab.

There is his father and Kana, his sister who is trying out the new qualities of Lionsa.

"Hahaha. I'm glad you approved of dad's idea. ah! Axelle? What's wrong?"

"Brother? ? You said you don't want to try Lionsa."

"Dad, my eyes become red again"Axelle said of Kana' ignoring.

Axelle closed his eyes tightly for a few seconds to open them for a while to see his father without blinking.

"Axelle, I'm going to call the doctor. Do you want to wait here or in your room?"

Liam rushed away from leaving his two children in the lab to call the doctor to his house.

"Brother,what's that tight?"

Axelle flashed back and forth sitting in a chair in front of his father's computer. The curious Kana approached her brother with a face that was only one inch away. Her brother was constantly blinking hoping that the pain would soon disappear.

In one of the winked among the wink, Kana was surprised to see her brother's eyes turn to gold and then return to black again.

But because it was only a moment, Kana couldn't see clearly.

"Brother opened your eyes!"

"Ha?"

"Open now!"

Although confused, Axelle opened his eyes for a long time to be seen by his sister.

"Black. but.. earlier.. change.. It's just my feelings?"

"What are you muttering about?"

"Ah. There's nothing. Maybe it's just my hallucinations."

Before long doctors came with their father and examined axelle's eyes. After being examined and given medication, the doctor left. Axelle's back in the room. Before he went to sleep, he dropped the eye medicine that the doctor had given him.

"Argh is more painful than ever. Hahh. hah.."

Axelle immediately went to the bathroom washing his eyes as much as possible to withstand the pain that continued to hurt his eyes. He looked in the mirror with a gasping breath as he endured the pain.

It's fleeting but unforgettable.

His eyes turned golden yellow with brown pupils. His teeth turned into fang-shaped all.

Axelle was silent.

'What was that? My imagination? Not.. I'm still fresh and not even sleepy yet. but.. What form was that? I can't possibly mis-see. My eyes turned to gold. My teeth became very sharp." He said it in his heart.

"Demon. Lucifer." Axelle said unconsciously.

He realized his words and felt strange again. Why did the word that came to his mind even that. He needs to stop thinking about it for today. He wouldn't be able to get up early for his morning routine if he didn't sleep now.

By the way axelle seemed to forget something.

His eyes stopped feeling afternoon.

In the morning.

As usual, Axelle ran in the early hours of the morning to take care of his health. It's like a staple food every day. In his head it was still spinning with a spinning last night.

"Hey, Axelle Orlenio.."

Her call destroyed his mind. He looked at her side. There was a woman in a white singlet and pink shorts next to her.

"Hm.."

Ah Axelle just realized he was running almost over the boundary walls of Heavenelevator and Hellelevator.

"Hahaha it seems like you're unconscious"

"Hm.."

"By the way today I will follow the activation in Vanator as a Chaser. My heart is beating again when I remember it again."

Axelle just ran to hear his friend's (?)' babbling, Freo.

"And you? Aren't you interested in being a Chaser? You're going to have a good body and love to exercise, I think your stats must be far above mine. You can definitely pass activation right away and become a Chaser R (Rank). I might just occupy Chaser Z (Zero) for a few years."

Freo was lefted without an answer. Well but freo already knows very well with Axelle's cold nature that decreases from his mother, Azelle.

Axelle meets Liam for dinner together as usual. But Liam is still sticking with Lionsa who he researched yesterday.

"Dad, that's enough. Let's eat."

Seeing his exhausted father, Axelle sighed and decided to help him.

"What can I help you with?"

"Are you sure? You're not sick, are you?"

"*Sigh* No. So? Can I help you?"
